  • The 'flag flutter' argument is a red herring...

There are other questions regarding the legitimacy of the moon landing that I would love to hear answers for.

I haven't made my mind up yet...

Rene, or whatever his name is, is a goof.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny You're the retard that doesn't bother to research the evidence showing that we did go to the moon. You shitheads turn a blind eye to logic and only see what you want to see.How about you go ahead and look up the moon reflectors dumbass! Explain that to me! Explain to me how the fuck you shine a laser at the moon and have the laser bounce back WITHOUT a man putting it there. Fucking retard.

  • Some people are just fuckin stupid. Evolution at work

  • Why haven't we gone back? Budget cuts dumb ass and presidents who cut the balls off our space program

  • oh boy this show is freakin funny haha

  • The reason you can't see stars on the moon is the same why you can't see them during te day on earth. The moon has no atmsophere so the sky is black.

  • @Capitanvolume haha that was a good one

  • 1:01 HOLY SHIT THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE MY HOUSE

  • You know, if you do a little research you can learn how the astronauts used the bathroom up there. Fucking idiot.

  • Why would they Put a Hole in the Bible?

  • Comment removed

  • @AmericaJustin ITs a joke

  • Attacking someone personally doesn't make you more right, Pen or Teller, which ever one you are...the big fat one.

  • /x/ brought me here.

    wtf.

  • There also to this day people that say the earth is flat the group is called the flat earth society, and people that say the earth is hollow and hitler lives there enjoying his immortality.look it up on you tube i am not making it up.

  • what's the name of the machine Rene' is using at 1:12

  • I just feel bad for this guy. Sure he's stupid, ignorant and crazy, but he's not hurting anybody and almost certainly just a lonely old man searching for attention; if he had just picked up one more stray dog, he never would have thought up this crap. They should have found a more formidable opponent, he's just too pathetic to be taken seriously.

  • this show is like a better version of mythbusters

  • @ihatebobsaget1989 hah wtf mythbusters is great. but yeah bullshit is the best shit!

  • I hate penn and teller, but I must admit they got a point. The real big proof are the 380kg of moon rock brought to earth by all of the Apollo mission. It is totally impossible to collect such an amount of moon rocks on earth.

  • It's actually kinda scary how many people agree with the conspiracy on here...

I feel upset for the hundreds of thousands of people and hundreds of years of science when one of mankinds greatest achievements to date is taken as a joke.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Truely, ashamed.

Go do some research, learn basic rocketry or even just basic physics and you'll see that the conspiracy evidence holds less water than an upside down bucket with a hole in it, in the middle of a desert...

  • Here's a link to some of the hoax evidence.

    spurstalk (dot) com/forums/showpost (dot) php?p=4001964&postcount=1

    There's a lot more.

Here's a link to some info about Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy site.

    davidicke (dot) com/forum/showthread (dot) php?t=125628

    (check links for gaps)

  • Hmm Your star statement is strange, Phil Plait. Michael Collins in the Apollo 11 post-flight conference said he never saw any stars in space. At this, Armstrong elbows him in the arm and motions for him to shut-up. haha, moon landing my ass. Plait is a fucking idiot.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny

And you are foul-mouthed ill-informed fifteen-minutes-of-fame-seeker. If you do really have a clue, go back to apollohoax and defend your claims instead of apologising for your equally ill-informed 'hero'.

And please QUOTE what 'Collins' {oops! you blew it again} said, in context, and give the video/timing for this 'obvious' elbow and the motion to shut up. You're full of (false) claims, but when asked to put up, you run for it.

  • Actually the one with the C is the original. These morons need to watch Jarrah White's videos.

  • Jarrah White is the shit! He's used great experiments to debunk morons like Phil Plait who think it was real.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny Hows this for INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE that they landed on the moon?

They actually put mirrors on the moon's surface, and if you go to ANY observatory and shine a laser at these mirrors, you can see it reflect back to the Earth. What else can cause this? God?

  • @BabysFace That was made by the russian before. So, that is not prove at all. There is no prove beacause was a Disney´s creation.

  • @BabysFace they could have put that there with machinery though. but yeah this conspiracy is silly, none of their reasonings hold any water when put to closer inspection

  • @yesiamawizardjonny

    JW's great experiments?

Like the one where he proves he can't count the number of days?

Like the one where he uses a balloon in air to simulate static effects in a vacuum?

Like the one where he proves he doesn't understand why moon rocks are quite different to earth ones?

Like the one where he pretends his art teacher is a forensic photography expert?

The guy's a moron, catering to the gullible and science-/logic-challenged.

Seems you are in all categories.

  • I hate stupid people like Penn and Teller. They are retarded and don't see the evidence of fake moon landings

  • @yesiamawizardjonny Evidence? What evidence? You mean stuff that people who have no clue come up with? Seriously, there is nothing unusual about the moon landings. The people that claim all kinds of things simply don't understand the science. Look at Jarrah Whites vids. Most all of them can be prooven false with a little understanding of pretty basic physics. Other things are totally baseless claims. All real and sound scientific evidence points to the fact that we went to the moon.

  • you faqin moron the wind on a planet or any structure in space can be caused by inequalities of temperature. you don't need air to have wind any nimrod that knows sh!t about physics understands that.

  • Ralph Rene is a classic example of a wasted brain. The guy was probably the thickest piece of shit ever to inhabit the planet, and I've met some retards in my life.

  • Take a look at any of the pictures of lunar landers supposedly on the moon. The moon dust has not been blown away by the rocket engines, but the dust is there as seen by the footprints. The engines have obviously not even been fired! Forget all the other evidence. Explain this and I will shut up.

  • @RobertsMrtn I doubt that. The LM did not come straight down, it tracked across the surface as it descended. This meant that right up to the last minute it was still blowing dust from beneath it. The rocket was shutdown 1 metre above the surface (if you look at pictures post docking, you will see sensors that indicated when to do this. The last few seconds of descent, the engine was throttled right back.

  • @Betamax101 Thank you for your reply. There is still a nagging doubt in my mind. It does not seem to make sense to switch off the engines before the final touch down. The lander would then be in free fall and would hit the surface with quite a jolt. The weight of the lander was 20,000 kg which would still require over 3,000 kg of reverse thrust in 1/6 of earth gravity to bring the lander to a halt.

  • @RobertsMrtn You would think so, but remember it is in 1/6th gravity and from one metre would be very gentle. It was designed to do that, the rocket ideally did not want to be firing when it touched down.

  • @RobertsMrtn

Free fall in 1/6 gravity is not that quick. Also the LM legs had a clever one use shock absorber system to absorb any fall.

3000 lbs of force btw, kg is a unit of mass.

  • @RobertsMrtn

"The moon dust has not been blown away by the rocket engines..."

The moon dust is very deep and quite compacted. There is no way the LM engine could blow that much dust away in the short time before the landing.

Add in that the exhaust gasses from the engine would spread out rapidly in the vacuum which would greatly reduce the pressure exerted on the surface very quickly the further from the LM.

  • @ytmoog

precisely, pressure varies as distance Cubed, and so it drops very quickly with any given distance...

2 meters from the source of the pressure results in 8x less force under ideal conditions.

The pictures do show some dust being blown about but no more or less than we would expect under a vacuum situation and a LEM engine.

(Just backing up ytmoog who seems to be one of the only sane people responding to this...)

    Clint - Astrophysicist.

  • The real question is why couldn't the 'nots see stars from the surface of the moon where there is no atmosphere? Seems to me that without the atmosphere to obscure the view of the stars the views should have been amazing. Instead at the post apollo 11 news conference when that question was asked they all started nervously shifting about like they had ants in their pants!

  • To first guy: We HAVE gone back.

  • 0:05 Because we no longer have the money. most research ahs gone into making it cheaper. That was the purpose of the space shuttle, as well as the international space station.

  • I'm glad they addressed this, just wish there had been a little less ad hominem attacks which were unnecessary when the facts were on their side.

  • @valerette No ad hominem here, as far as I recall.

Ad hominem is not simply an attack on one's personality etc. It's using the attack as a justification for one's criticism, basically.

    For example:

"You are ugly" -> Not ad hominem

"You are wrong because you are ugly" -> ad hominem

  • Penn and Teller needs to talk to Jarrah White and watch the MoonFaker series. They would get owned.

  • @dragnet53 You really think so? I'd also LOVE to see P&T encounter Jarrah White, but I think the outcome would be just a little different than you expect.

  • @ApolloWasReal

    Phil Plait is that you?

  • @dragnet53 Nope. Phil yes, Plait no.

  • @dragnet53 Here's a hint if you want to be taken credibly: Realize that science and all forms of research require the ability to self criticize, realize that you have inevitably gotten some things wrong from the beginning, and learn to correct those things, instead of just trying desperately to prove how right you are.

Could you try actually responding to cocojumb0's points, instead of simply repeating that you think he's wrong and you're right? Didn't think so.

  • @compactdisk2

actually I did if you had some reading comprehension skills. I wonder why Penn's show got canceled after Phil Plait got owned by Joe Rogan? I find that really weird i do say.

  • @dragnet53 It's pretty obvious, once you're reduced to hosting moon hoax believers you're scraping the bottom of the barrel and have clearly run out of ideas.

  • @dragnet53 Joe Rogan WON that debate? Are you sober?

  • @IggyIrons

You must be a Phil Plait fan. So then tell me why did Penn's show get cancelled after that episode? Phil doesn't like to get humiliated. He held is own against Phil.

  • @dragnet53 I had never heard of Phil Plait before this show. Also, have you read Phil's report on the discussion?

  • @IggyIrons

BS I call you out on this. Everyone knows Phil Plait. You already chose your side before Joe Rogan was on the show.

  • @dragnet53 I love people who know me better than myself. I don't choose sides blindly, I study the evidence. Read Michael Shermer's papers on the moon hoax, that is, for example, something I was familiar with before I saw the P&T episode, or heard the conversation between Rogan and Plait.

  • @IggyIrons

LOL another person who believe in Shermer!

sure and tell me why hasn't any other country gone to the moon successfully? They have the money and the means to do it, but they seem to always fail and yet the USA is still the only country to "achieve" going to the moon. When one country achieves something another country follows suit. Take for instance Columbus sailed and found the new world. Europe then followed next and created the 13 colonies.

    History always repeats itself.

  • @dragnet53 I don't "believe" anything.

That argument proves nothing. Besides, the Soviet Union HAS sent rovers to the moon. Also, while many countries would have the money and the means, why would they have the incentive to go there? It has already been visited, studied and explored, what reason is there to waste more money? Besides, I do think history will repeat itself on this, too, that is to say Mars. We'll be lucky to witness is ourselves, however.

  • @dragnet53 But you should give it some time; the 13 colonies ruled by Great Britain were established over a 100 years after Columbus. In case you meant the 13 North-American colonies?

But the distinction would be to miss the point. We are talking about space exploration, it SHOULD take more time to prepare than going on a boat.

  • @dragnet53 "why hasn't any other country gone to the moon successfuly"

Seriously? Firstly it's monumentally expensive, secondly you don't get much of a return on your investment, even if you mined the moon it would be massively unlikely that you'd see any profit. Your new world analogy is the precise opposite, it's not all that expensive to send someone on a boat to the new world (which was brimming with potential profit) and easy to repeat.

  • @JACKtheRIPP3R189 they found enough water on the moon 15,000 Olympic swimming pools...America is mining the moon NASA has the most advanced space tech ..most countries work together via summit meetings, G20 etc... this includes Space exploration, Health and Economic matters...America landed on the moon with humans...NASA has technicians from different countries we are living in a globalized world and thank god for that because we can all work together to make the world better

  • @Notasheep187 Water? Well that would be nice if you're colonizing the place, but it's not really worth going there unless you can get something that makes it worth your while.

  • @dragnet53

WTF "other countries always fail" NO other country has tried to put men on the moon dumbass God you lunartics make up any old shit

  • @TheJomogogo

OMFG you are the most stupid person on this planet. Russia has tried and almost succeeded but hey their astronauts died getting there. You are a drone and the government likes you.

  • @dragnet53

Kid,that is the most stoopidest fuckASS claim I've heard yet.

Russia never attempted a manned moon mission.

You are a child and we're done here.

  • @TheJomogogo

kid lmfao I wish I were one. but still your wrong and I am right. now go play in the radiation belt since it is "safe".

  • @dragnet53

OK genius, stop playing typical hoaxfuck games, you were called on your claim about the Russians trying to go to the moon and losing astronauts in the attempt.

    When did that happen ?

    Enlighten us shit wit.

  • @TheJomogogo

I was going to name Yuri Gagarin but for some odd reason now there is some false evidence going around that state he never did launch into space and died towards the moon. But it is funny though it is not okay for russians to lie, but it is okay for NASA to lie that we "landed". I wonder if all this is just propaganda from NASA just to piss off the Russians because of all the hoax moon-landing believers are showing up a lot.

  • @dragnet53

Yuri Gagarin died in a plane crash in 1968 you dolt.

Why do lunartics have problems with basic facts?

  • @TheJomogogo

Why don't you go and watch Jarrah White's channel. I bet that would just give you a heart attack.

  • @dragnet53

Yeah I've seen White's stuff, he's nuts, makes up shit, very clumsy and stupid in his fairy tales.

  • @dragnet53 Besides, Joe Rogan? Who would like to have that obnoxious airhead on one's side?

  • @dragnet53 Yeah, I would really love for Penn and Teller to watch Moonfaker.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny

'Moonfaker' is absolute drivel. For anyone else tempted to accept ill-informed garbage such as that - go and take a long hard look at how 'wizardjonny' runs away when challenged by people who DO know what they are talking about. Visit apollohoaxdotnet, go to the forum, then Hoax Theory, then 'John Young Jump Salute Analysis'. When the flaws in his 'analysis' were pointed out, he vanished, calling out names as he went. Typical Apollo denier.

  • @chrlz904 Nope. I left when people started trashing on my friend Jarrah who makes the moonfaker films. That website is just an "everyone trash on Jarrah and Vincent" forum. I'm not going to deal with that.

  • It's sad that we need shows like Bullshit! to set the record straight. Thanks, P & T!

  • If you believe the moon landing or that 911 was faked go get a life and stop making up bullshit..... I can do it too!!! Washington used a quill that king George used in his offfice!!!!! and that Aliens anal probe me with a baseball bat...... And Bush used a weather control device to destroy the black neighbor hoods in Louisiana... get a life, go out side, and dont be a dumb ass

  • @P1llMasterZ

Sure so tell me what about that radiation? According to documentaries on Apollo 11 moon landing they were on the moon for a day. That is enough time to get exposed to radiation, but yet the astronauts were fine! LMFAO!!

  • @dragnet53 seems like you dont understand basic physics

  • @cocojumb0

WTF does physics have to do with radiation exposure? Please tell me genius?

  • @dragnet53 you said "That is enough time to get exposed to radiation, but yet the astronauts were fine! LMFAO!! "

youre always! exposed to radiation. the thing is its not a lethal or dangerous dosis youre getting on normal places on earth. in space you might get more radiation than on earth but the 8 days they were out there werent enought to make them sick or something. if you say they should been sick then take the time and the amount of radiaton they were exposed to and calculate it. tell us

  • @cocojumb0

Dude seriously don't understand the laws of physics in space. Even the Russians knew the dangers of radiation on the moon!

  • @dragnet53 i dont understand what you want or where you want this discussion to go. i already showed my point. the ammount they got exposed to was around 20 mSv. thats not deadly or very dangerous but of course it raises the chances of getting cancer and other diseases by some degree.

you didnt even calculate anything but still you claim that it is impossible due to high radioactivity which is just not true.

additionally 382 kg of moon rock and reflectors on the moon proves that its doable.

  • @cocojumb0

hahaha There is no atmosphere to protect the astronauts from the radiation on the moon. Nice try genius. :)

  • @dragnet53 no atmosphere needed. they took medication to be better resistant against radiation and their suits protected them at least against alpha and beta rays. it was only 20 mSv they got not nearly a lethal or very dangerous dosis but i stated that already. seems like you are just trolling around or very stupid. last thing would be sad.

  • @dragnet53 as far as i know they were exposed to 6 mSv in their ~195h flight

thats as much radioaktivity as an average european gets in 2-3 years. they were also exposed to radioactivity on the moon which is 1-1.5 mSv per day.

by not getting sick i meant instantly because after some time some astronauts really got sick for example with Katarakt (48 of 295 in 2001)

  • of course patriotic americans cant even think about landing could be fake and got owned by soviet union. the guy in the red shirt is so arogant, see his face, dont believe a word he said

  • i hate stupid people. enough said.

  • @daboodeef179

So do I but who or which are the stupid ones? Everybody states they hate stupid people.

  • @dragnet53 It's almost adorable that you're still trying to defend this horseshit.

  • @IggyIrons

    Ditto on your part.

  • @dragnet53 Ouch. Anyway, best of luck in combatting reality!

  • that damn chimey needs to be swept

  • reney what an idiot

  • it was in the FUCKING ROCKET!!!!!!!!!

  • how did they get the cameras on the moon

  • Oh my god. Is your brain even functional?

  • Same way they got the astronauts to the moon.

  • @PukkaPieKid How the fuck do you think? IT WAS IN THE ROCKET, HURRR
