I have four dogs. One came from a breeder and two were strays. The 4th, a little pitbull, I adopted from a high kill shelter. I love them all, but the little pittie I adopted from the shelter is my velcro/heartdog!
this video was very sad and very true. it is sad that people do this, and i would love to adopt another dog, but we already have 2 and i doubt my mom would want another...we saved a dog from a family who would've put it in a shelter, giving her a week to live...she was abused by people who weren't owner;brick threw at her eye(blinded her left),hit with a 2x4, and got part of her ear torn off. just because they were a pitbull type. she is the sweetest dog you could ever known, and now shes deaf.
I have 2 also! My 2 are German Shepherds! My big guy I bought from a breeder but we then got my girl from SAFE (Saving animals from euthanisia)! I wish that I could take them all but like you it is just not possible! I will always in future get my dogs from the pound or a rescue organisation! Regards and respect to you for caring! It is nice to know that there are many good people in this world!
