The most likely reason is because he's past his prime. His losing streak started with that brutal head kick from Crocop in Final Conflict 2006. He hasn't fought the same since then. He probably sustained some significant brain damage because he's been KO'd rather easily three more times after that fight.
The man does not suck. In his prime he was a monster, he was in pride fc what chuck liddell was in the ufc, for 4 years. his style and him getting older and slower isnt helping him today in the ufc. Hopefully he can work on some things so he can get back to form against rich at ufc 99

Yes poor cardio makes cowards of us all. Out of all my personal training regime, I hate cardio the most. But, I push cardio the hardest, like my life depends on it, where literally it is. It's an in depth point of view. But, for the ring and life in general, it should be at the top of everyone's priority list.

I'm a vanderlei fan but you know he didn't lose that first fight (my memory must be bad) to Rampage cause he gassed. He lost because vanderlei was swinging like he usually does and rampage crouched/bent on his right and hit him with a right hook... just about great timing.
If anything I woulda thought Vanderlei would have prepared to defeat the punching style that owned him, and that he had never seen in his fights in pride.

yup, when you don't have the help of certain illegal drugs like steroids, you have to resort to this type of training in order to generate about half as much endurance as he would have while on the juice. take it from me youtbers, i speak from experience. if you have never been on the juice, you have no bone to pick with me. when you're off it, your body mass decreases, you can still be strong by strenth training, but your ability to recover is not there anymore.

Yes poor cardio makes cowards of us all. Out of all my personal training regime, I hate cardio the most. But, I push cardio the hardest, like my life depends on it, where literally it is. It's an in depth point of view. But, for the ring and life in general, it should be at the top of everyone's priority list.

to address turbo bro the conditioning training I use in routine once again has nothing to do with weight training it is based on what I was taught by fighters (wrestlers and boxers) I usually don't comment this much but lately this was the last straw. I doing cause it annoys the hell out of closet racist dick riding jealous when a black person wins jackasses I not going to stop and I don't care the sad thing is my favorite fighter is white

Once again like I shown when i was boxing conditioning does apply to fighting and you guys are right that rampage knocked him out but there are various ways to train reflexes (speed roping) and etc than worry about a conditioning technique for a guy who has never had a problem with later rounds in past fights

This is a conditioning training, this has nothing to do with a fighting training.
Being knock out by Rampage, has nothing to do with this, has to do with Xtreme Couture trainings,he spars there.
The problem is, Wand is acting like a boxer, while his main weapons was his thay skills,Rampage almost KOd him on their 2nd fight,but he used his knee well and saved himself.This guy trains Wand conditioning since Pride,so it woks

I'm a vanderlei fan but you know he didn't lose that first fight (my memory must be bad) to Rampage cause he gassed. He lost because vanderlei was swinging like he usually does and rampage crouched/bent on his right and hit him with a right hook... just about great timing.
If anything I woulda thought Vanderlei would have prepared to defeat the punching style that owned him, and that he had never seen in his fights in pride.
But no... this same retarded focus on cardio. Sorry buddy...

oh yeah lest I forget I DON'T LIFT WEIGHTS the training I do daily jumping rope, pull ups from dead hang position(30x), hundreds of push ups, running and stomach exercises was what was taught to me when I used to box and train with wrestlers. and guess what it builds muscles and helps fat chicks get into shape. FIND SARAH PALIN RENT A CAR AND DRIVE TO THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE. You closet racist homphobe wanna be millionare.

SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN you now have a body that is trained to use less oxygen which means less ATP energy through fatty acid conversion due to beta oxidation and when I used to watch wandy fight what I loved is the man who would come out blazing from the beginning to end. What did I get instead a legend with a plastic bag wrapped around his head. all wrestlers, boxers, jui jitsu and kick boxers look for one thing in common a man with his mouth open sign of fatigue (bad conditioning)

This is the worst training idea I have ever seen and I'm an nfpt certified trainer. please people watching remember your muscles will not develop properly without deep breaths of oxygen. yup, when you don't have the help of certain illegal drugs like steroids, you have to resort to this type of training in order to generate about half as much endurance as he would have while on the juice. take it from me youtbers, i speak from experience. if you have never been on the juice, you have no bone to pick with me. when you're off it, your body mass decreases, you can still be strong by strenth training, but your ability to recover is not there anymore.
