I don't think anyone denies that men and women have strong sexual urges. What's problematic is the way porn shapes and defines sexual desire, so you get men frustrated that they can't have "porn sex" in real life, and end up preferring to masturbate to porn than to actually have sex with a woman.

I'm not saying that happens to everyone, but it's an increasing problem.

Where did you get those statistics? Do they include undocumented rape? Does it include children or only adults?

Usually the other factor that leads someone to rape after viewing porn is that they were sexually abused as children. If at least 1 out of 5 children are raped or sexually abused.... that means 1 out of 5 adults could possibly end up raping after viewing porn... Correlation does not equal causation... To say otherwise is a logical fallacy and that makes you stupid.

The problem is, it is difficult to prove that porno leads to violence. It could be that people with a tendency to be violent also have a tendency to seek out porno.

I'm against porno personally, but proving the causal relationship between porno and violence is much harder than simply saying "He was violent. And LOOK...we know he looked at porno!" I'm not saying we can't prove the causal relationship, I'm saying it's difficult.
