If only they actually made Ichimaru the real bad guy. They should have kept Aizen dead, and had the final battle be between Ichimaru (One or two other captains or VCs) and the rest of them. Then they wouldn't have had to drag all this shit out. After that fight and all, MAYBE they could have brought Aizen back for his trolling session.

The next best (if you've gotten to episode 350 you'll know what I'm talking about) is when kon gives him the mod soul with his reitsu in it and it's playing chokkaku. Takes second place. I broke out in a big smile because I knew as soon as it started to play something bad*ss was going to happen.

If you want a serious reason then how about this.
Throughout the manga (post-rescuing Rukia arc) Ichigo has been struggling with confidence issues. First: His Hollow-self. Then his abilities. Then losing his friends/family. Zangetsu mentioned on many occasions that Ichigo needed to overcome his fears and regain his confidence. Try watching the last few episodes where Ichigo is training. Zangetsu tells him about his inner world which is now flooded with fear over losing his town.
I have tet to watch the fullbring arc. I'm debating on waiting until it is done in English. I found I kept having to replay some parts just to read and then watch, so decided it was pointless. I watched up until the Aizen fight, then decided to stop. So, I can't comment on it.
@Naymy It'll take too long for the english and I wish I had the patience but I switched to sub like I did with One Piece and Naruto and even though I prefer the dubs I just can't wait but if you have the patience then wait or if not just watch the subs and then watch dubs when they come out.
Thus concluding why he is stronger here - because he is confident and without fear.
Of course, it could be that the writers made him powerful here to make the end of the arc pretty spectacular, then went...err...now what? Too late for a rewrite...maybe no one will notice.

Ichigo has twice the Spirit Pressure of any Captain Level Soulreaper. I'm under the impression that he has that strength now. His just not using it efficiently. Kind of like someone who is strong, but doesn't necessarily know how to fight. Ichigo has twice the strength of a Captain, who is X times stronger than a Lieutenant* allowing him to pwn three Lieutenants with ease.

Ichigo has twice the Spirit Pressure of any Captain Level Soulreaper. I'm under the impression that he has that strength now. His just not using it efficiently. Kind of like someone who is strong, but doesn't necessarily know how to fight. Ichigo has twice the strength of a Captain, who is X times stronger than a Lieutenant* allowing him to pwn three Lieutenants with ease.
* I can't find the episode but I think it's 5 times stronger

@Krakars this is your perspective of course i personally liked the old shikai however your quite right that it looks even more awesome than the bankai and and all, the reason for the change is he is a year and half older than when he fought aizen ichigo is a lil older and more mature the shikai and his outfit are reflecting the change in his growth as well the growth being mental as well as physical and emotional.. but if you really like anime and all come to nwanime.com.
