The mod is what it is. We who own Xrerras know what to expect. I especially like the dialogue at the end... "That's power, not really but hey, for 35" tires on this baby - not geared - that's pretty damn respectable". Your quote says it all. In this instance a picture is not worth a thousand words. That one quote sums it up. Sounds like a guy who knows auto gearing! I have a Jeep Wrangler with 33" that I'm selling to fund my '08 Xterra. I'm no racer unless offroad. I want 35" tires. + turbo!
Too much. But this is an old video. I have since upgraded it. If you want exact pricing on the supercharger check out the web page that Stillen has. Other than that go to the web page that UpRev has to see what mods you can do to your ECU. I also have larger injectors. And am now looking into new coil packs, and stronger pistons and rods.
Well in this vid I didnt have all of the extra stuff hooked up to it, but i was still pushing about 270HP to the wheels... Go dyno your truck and get back to me on how much whp you have. A stock 05+ Xterra could smoke any 02,03,04 SC xterra!
My truck is going in the shop the 5th of december and getting all the work done to it (larger injectors, fuel pump, ECU flash, and dyno tuned). I will post another video of it after the work gets done.
get ur self headers if possible, smaller pulley, largest intake possible...i dont think injectors are needed, not unless the truck didnt come with the supercharger...sounds great tho! how much torque u crankin out??
Yup, it is. But im getting bigger injectors, a larger fuel pump, and getting rid of the piggy back system on the ECU. UpRev in Austin will be doing the work. I just need to find the time to make it out there. Should make a world of difference with a good tune!
Supercharger was expensive... Its made by stillen. just google them and you will be able to find their site. If you really want to get better gas mileage and cleaner shifting contact UpRev. They can reprogram your ECU. I think that another company might have even come out with a chip for our vehicles. DO NOT BUY THOSE CHEAP GADGETS ON EBAY... THEY DONT WORK!
Uhhhh, probably because mine isnt stock. I have full body armor (front, rear, sides, undercarriage), 6" of lift with 35" tires, and STOCK gearing. All of that takes away alot of the power.
That should be cool. I guess I was still suprised though because it may be a v6, but its a lot lighter, and it eas supercharged. Gearing will definately help you out though, it's essential when you get into big sizes like 35", goodluck!
lol well it sounds very nice, but still very slow even with the supercharger. I run 35" tires on my ram pretty much stock with 4.10 gearing, and that thing hauls ass. What size motor is in the xterra??
Well yeah, considering your truck probably has a V8 to start with, and you have 4.10 gears... yours is going to haul ass compared to mine. I have a 4.0 V6 and stock gearing. No aftermarket gears are out for my truck yet, but as soon as they do Im going to snatch them up

you say that can beat a stock x. i disagree. i have a stock x and it is faster than this. your tires are just to big to let it be fast

i wonder how the tires are holding up at those speed

headers: Check Exhaust: Check Intake: Check
