OK. They have good stuff. But is Bret Nelson the best CISSP / Juniper Certified person they could have put out there. He couldn't sell water in the desert. He's stiff, he's wooden, and he's bald - so am I, but, the video has the truck, the music, you think they'd put a more attractive guy on their pitch!
Yes, Juniper devices are very fast. I am proud to say that I am doing programming for M-40, M-120, M-320 routers in configuring them at config level for creation of various interfaces at Qwest. Juniper network devices are awesome. No doubt, very soon will broaden their network and will lead the path.
i am sorry my friend but it is very likely that it is true.... even in Cisco videos few people leave comments. Cisco creates devices for medium to large deployments. Juniper creates high end devices and most ISPs trust Juniper for Core topologies.
"90% of Internet traffic passess throuhg Juniper Routers" Hmm i don't think so, i'm even the first who commented this video so people don't interest in Juniper solutions.
I have worked in some of the largest naps in the world. One of the naps in miami has cages and peerings with over 187 ISP's and connects all of south america. I can tell you that you will be hard pressed to find a cisco router in any of those carrier class environments. Cisco has a good hold on the enterprise ie businesses which Juniper is just starting to focus on. don't let your small enterprise experience convince you that ISP's use the same equipment. Juniper, Nortel (for sonet and fiber).
He lacks a certain vocabulary that makes him a failure of a salesman :(
