Hey page four the pdf question four says 3+2(5)-(-7)= 6 but you said if you have a subtraction and a negative back to back it becomes a positive if you do that its 20

No problem! We start inside the big parentheses. The first thing we have to do in there is multiply the -5 times 3. That's -15, so we have:
4 + 2[6 - -15]
Inside the brackets, we have 6 - - 15 = 6+15=21. Now we have:
4 + 2[21]
Now multiply, then add:
4 + 42
44
