This was one of the best of the Marty Stuart shows this first season I hope it comes back on RFTV for another one -- a great preformance! For pure vocal talent there is nothing like Connie.
Connie, Earl and Marty some of the greatest gospel entertainers you'd want to hear...... albeit they're also great country-blue grass players as well.
Beautiful Song, Beautiful voice, Beautiful lady. I wish she would sing more songs like this. I like her old standards, but wish she would come up with some different songs. Her voice is perfect for old Carter Family songs, plus other oldies and goodies. She can sing all kinds of songs and make them sound great!
I know what you mean. However, when she does a show, the audience screams for her standards--Once a Day, Then and Only Then, etc. But with her beautiful voice, and those twin acoustic guitars, this one is really sweet. As I always say: "Lord, that lady can sing!!"
I cant believe that she allows Marty Stuart to be on stage with her. He drags her down as he is not a musician or singer. Married into it I guess!!!
