PowerMatic 2 Electric Cigarette Injector!

After having one of these for over a year, I just bought a new one today. The tobacco spoon seemed to be getting loose from wear. It's paid for itself because I've made a ton of smokes with it since I smoke 2 to 3 packs a day.

After experiencing machines similar to what the Freedom Filler can do, I wasn't too impressed. About 95% of the carton comes out over packed, and are a bit difficult to draw on. I'll stick with my Power-matic and Super-matic machines

This Powermatic 2 is rated BEST after being tested by RYO magazine for a year. Still works great after being pounded for a year by them. For its class, it is untouchable. I just bought one for $79.00

i gather that is the name of this machine this local store uses here in vegas, sin city cig factory. I've been going there for a few weeks now, 21.50 a carton, choice of tubes..makes it in 8 minutes. Though i might check this machine out here, because it's easier to do at home

@stonecd Dude, sorry to hear that. Sounds like it lasted you at least a year though. Mine has been working great and seems much faster than the crank type. I've had mine apart and they're very well built. I hope that they keep on selling these.

That machine looks like a waste. You still have to pack it, and only fill 1 cig at a time. If I have electric it will be the type you drop tobacco for 5-10 cigs at a time, adjust your package setting you like, and you don't have to pack it with a tamper. Just slide your tube on and push the button, add antoher tube, and push the button, add atube and push the button and so on. This machine not differant than hand injector except you don't to have to slide it.

@utoobdude67 Yes I guess this machine is a waste to you but it saves your arm from cranking like 200 + times plus I'm lazy and there is a machine that loads a bunch of cigs it's fresh choice and cost like 400-500 dollars so for 100 dollars I like my machine! Thanks have a good one!:P

@stonecd I've looked at both the manual Premier Supermatic and your review. If you are having to pull that arm with your finger for each cigarette, how is that different? What does the electrical part of the action do? I noticed you still had to pack the chamber, close a lever and then the blank was loaded. To me, if a machine is going to be electric vs manual, it should load its own tobacco, load the blank and cut it lose. The pressure for a finger vs an arm seemed greater for a finger yes?

@pspmichael I'm not really sure what your question is but this machine works good for me. The electric one packs better in my opinion, and when you roll a lot the electric one is faster and not such a strain on the arm! Any other questions just ask! Later

@stonecd Does this plug directly into 110? I noticed on your cord you had some sort of a box..is that some sort of a converter? In other words does come ready for electricity in the U.S.A are do you have to have a converter?

@jasmart1944 Yes this has a plug for 110 volt they did away with the block now the machine just plugs in the back of the machine it is just like a home radio/cd player plug! Any other questions just ask!

I can make a carton of cigs in about an hour with this machine. Let's see you do that with a hand injector.

Hey man i got a couple questions. I have a topomatic and make smokes for family and friends. I'm looking for a machine that can quickly make consistent smokes. TopoMatic makes great cigs as far as quality is concerned. But I need a machine that will make a carton of smokes in like an hour or two if possible. I'm considering this machine or the regular electic filler machine. How fast does your machine work?

There's a new model of the Powermatic 2 coming out next month! It is, from what I've read, stronger than the original, meaning it will hanfle pipe tobacco better.

I really can't suggest any blends! I smoke Criss Cross Mint Blend Pipe Tobacco even though they don't recommend pipe tobacco for this machine. I use the Premier menthol tubes! I smoke that because it's cheap-$15.00 a pound and it taste good!Thanks Later

Thanks for posting...I know little about the machines, but want one. Are there significant advantages of using electric over a manual machine, as far as being more efficient and the overall quality of the finished product?

1 This electric machine is just like a crank stile one it injects the tubes with is known as a spoon! 2 As for quality it works great with King size tubes,also I did jam this machine like 3-4 times I like my cigs packed tight and most times to unjam it you hit the reset button lift the handle a little and then close it and most times still rolls a great cig!! Any other ?? just ask!

because the first powermatic was crap loos packed smokes

i use a hand crank Premier Exel (Blue Plastic Model)

it's looks to damn good to be true lol

have you tried any 100 tubes?

i read it does kings and 100's but the 100's it leaves about 3/16 shy

Thanks but no I've not tried 100's just kings! I know what you mean by to good to be true,but so far this machine works great rolled like 2-3 cartons so far and never jammed yet I think you have to really pack the machine hard to get jammed!!
