oh wow, i want to get back into tai chi chuan but to think of doing it and adding baoding balls at the same time, what an incredible challenge to look forward to. I only have 2 balls is it easier to do three at once?
depends on the pattern - spinning 3 in a column is quite difficult, triangle is easier than 2. adding more balls helps you to open up your hand, but don't stop to train with 2 along the way - the ideal is when your hand is absolutely flat (search youtube for "bao ding?" by user nguaro).
Thanks for posting this! The man at the beginnig is amazingly good. Were those balls connected (stuck/glued) to eachother or were they all seperate from eachother?
