The point is that girls' perception of beauty is wrong because of the photoshoped models we see on TV and ads. That's why pretty much any girl can tell you at least 1 thing "wrong" with her appearance. Seeing fake beauty makes them lose confidence in their own appearance. I don't agree when people say the pressure for girls/women to look good comes from other women. From my experience, it definitely comes from seeing the way men react toward women. I don't like how society always portrays women to be against each other. All the women in my life work together and are very supportive of each other no matter how we look. I totally agree. I've been to both a co-ed school and an all girl school, and I can definitely say that girls mostly dress up to impress other girls.
