Doesn't sound much like Silent Hill music. Akira's was always weird, grindy ambience as opposed to creepy piano pieces. Needs more synth and scraping metal.

Having said that, it sounds lovely. Could fit well in a horror game, or even something like Persona.

I shut the lights off and played the volume high on this one, closing my eyes and using my imagination listening to this song. I couldnt even describe the imagery i created to the point were by the end of the song my eyes were coated with tears.

Effective it is especially combined with the imagination.

I love Donnie Darko and the soundtrack to it. The sequel S. Darko wasn't as good in my opinion (sequels hardly ever are) but still worth checking out if you liked the plot of the first one. Great improv by the way.
