Upon my trips around South Island NZ, I ran into an American tourist who was perplexed by the concept of an honesty box. "Oh, that's n i c e" (sarcastically), then: "whatever!" ... following this it was apparent the owner of the box was having to check on it regularly. Good marketing, but in reality the "openness", "youthfulness" blah blah, is a mistake.

In fact, it was this vid I see that got me going to NZ - it's now or never. Because as much as we would like to be "forever young", there are exciting activities and awesome scenery that you can only see if you embark on those long hikes - things that we can do only when we are physically young - and that has a short expiry date.

This video is very well-made. I'm fr SG and had just returned from NZ South Island - I was there this autumn. The visuals and the song "Forever Young" are very apt for the theme "the youngest country on Earth". Also for those like myself who grew up on songs from the late 70s-90s, this brought back nostalgia of my youth. I enjoy the pristine n awesome scenery, the stars at Mt Cook, the tranquility of Kaikoura/Glenorchy, refreshing air and the wildlife. It is really 100% Pure NZ.
