  • On that day that you filmed this, I went into an Apple Store for the first time EVER! Creepy thing is that I had no idea he died at all.... I just randomly felt like going in there....

  • I know what im about to say doesn't suck as much as Steve Jobs death but i lost one of my cats to cancer and may be soon losing another one because she has cancer but every time i hear the word cancer i just vision my cat Jinxey with her body full of cancer we never knew she had cancer so all her life she has been dying a slow death and saying that makes me feel guilty because we let her die because we never cheacked her out :'(

  • Steve Jobs loss is great. No one cared that in that month Dennis Ritchie died, who invented C. Seeing as most applications and softwares are in C, C++, or Objective C platform. No one seemed to care, Without Stephen Ritchie Steve Jobs' software wouldn't be.

  • My dad died of pancreatic cancer Steve jobs death reminded me of him

  • he lived his life to the macs.

  • Class

  • I bet steve jobs will be taught in history

  • R.I.P STEVE JOBS MAY BE GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN <3

  • Hey David, when did you get a new fridge?

  • i'm so sorry for everyone that liked steve jobs, even you david, even I live in california

  • Steve Jobs wasn't that great of a person. he had a child with a women and refused to giver her child support while they lived in poverty. When he resumed control of Apple he got rid of all corporate philanthropy. He also was aware of several sweatshops in China and chose to do nothing about to. Steve did a lot for the tech world, but wasn't a good person. I'm not glad he is dead, because I have no happiness with death, I am just stating the facts.

  • now , I'll finally remember something on October 7th. Steve Jobs died on my Birthday !!! WHY DID HE HAVE TO PASS AWAY ON MY BIRTHDAY ?

  • @TheLaffZilla asshole!

  • You should really do a video on the death of UNIX creator Dennis Ritchie who died a few days ago, as without him, Apple would not exist and neither would Linux. He also co-wrote the C programming language.

  • The best die too early R.I.P Steve Jobs :) you gave the world a great technology company

  • Hey David, I heard you like macs so i put one pedal in your car. Enjoy.

  • @prefscription Another example just came out after he passed. Originally the iPhone was going to use a very high grade plastic screen, but Steve wanted glass. He was told it can't be done by many people, with the multi-touch interface. He finally decided enough was enough and told them to make it happen, and they did. It may not seem like much, but he was obsessed with all these little details. Plastic would work just as well, but glass feels much nicer to use when you touch it.

  • @prefscription Jobs was obsessed with tiny details and design (design from the core to the shell). A good example of this is on the original Macintosh. He told the UI designers they HAD to use rounded corners on everything from windows to buttons to icons because it makes it easier for the brain to process. The engineers told him it'll use too much CPU power and there was no reason, so he showed the engineers road signs and other physical objects, all with rounded corners. They agreed.

  • he didn't just rebuild apple he rebuilt the the world. i will miss you forever

  • apple was wank anyway :L

  • I don't like Apple for various reasons. However, those reasons are a debate for another day.

Whatever you think of Apple one has to realize that Mr. Job's passing deserves respect as a human with his own set of flaws and virtues.

Despite the fact that I don't use Apple products Steve Jobs has had an impact (mostly but not solely) through Apple on everyone who uses a computer.

    R.I.P. Steve Jobs

...and long live Apple because competition is a good thing.

  • Nice video David. I know how Steve Jobs made such a impact on your life. He has everyone. He is in a better place now.

  • You are a cool dude. Love your spirit, man.

  • Alert*

  • I got an espn breaking news alwet on my phone about it

  • now how are we going to get apple item how are we going to live in world where there are no apple stuff now wat are we going to do

  • I heard the news at the last second coming home from work. I really had to pull the car over, I really lost it.

  • We should all be fighting as hard as we can to find a cure for cancer. You can help right now by running the world community grid program on your computer. Google world community grid and be sure to join team endthedisease.

  • New iPhone 4 Steve

  • Even cats mourn at the genius that is Steve Jobs.

  • he going to born again for iphone 10 and ipad 10 ..... even give more products

  • Hey Dave I hope you are doing ok. I was so shocked and upset about Steve. I think that what people are saying on Twitter about the iphone 4Steve is perfect and the name makes sence even if that's not what it stands for. Have a good rest of the weekend david.

  • i dont give a fuck what anyone says steve jobs was the man he was a vision he saw things the way no one else saw them he made apple and he did a good job he made me what to buy the products he talked about he was so good at sell the products to you up on stage he was a awsome CEO and guy steve jobs Rest in Peace man you will be missed Dave the creativeone u rock bro thanks for this video.

  • From Spain, Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. Thank you for all the 'keynote' afternoons...

  • Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.

    - Steve Jobs

  • I was devastated to hear about Steve's passing. I may get hate for this but... Everyone has to pass, Steve was a smart man. I believe Apple will go on, Tim Cook is a smart man and I believe he will continue to keep Apple a huge company. Steve

  • People die, its the circle of life.

  • @Boyulut ...and it moves the SoOoOOoooOOoUUUUUL ♫

  • @prefscription No, it's cool. I appreciate a good debate and/or conversation. Enjoy your day!

  • @thecreativeone well um if steve jobs in heaven right now and if it is really real they might have some high technology!

  • @thecreativeone i feel sad too, he died of age 56. i loved him and he was a genius.

  • RIP Steve Jobs

thank you for all the great time you give me

  • When i pick up my iphone i dont say how cool it is i say how cool the creator was

  • Well.. At least we can go to iHeaven...

  • he's in the iClouds now

  • What a legend he was, he will be remembered forever as a hero.

  • Great video Dave.

  • I need 20 bulletsl

  • @y35n00b5 ME TOO!

  • without Steve Jobs mac, Bill Gates would probably had never thought of windows, without ipod other companys would never thought of mp3 devices and cd player would probably stick around longer, without a iphone android, windows phone 7 would had never exist. without ipad other tablet company would had never create them such as the galaxy tablet, xoom etc

  • iDead

  • He will forever be in the iCloud!

  • @prefscription I'm just saying, Steve was the yes/no guy when it came to making the right decisions. If it wasn't for Steve Jobs, some of the industry's largest and most iconic products wouldn't exist. And those products started with ideas, which then turn into the real thing – only made possible by the actual designers and engineers. That's all I am trying to explain.

  • @prefscription So you're saying Steve had nothing to do with brainstorming the iPad? I highly doubt that. Yes, his goal was to start a computer company, but that eventually branched out into a consumer electronics company – which is a good thing. Steve played a major role in making all the major iOS devices become a reality.

  • @prefscription I'm not trying to disrespect you. I just can't see how you can get away with saying Steve Jobs had nothing to do with product design, when you know that's 100% false. I may not have inside information with Apple, but I do know for a fact that every great design starts with an idea. As for underpaying Asian employees, that's another issue. This video is intended to concentrate on the good things Steve Jobs has done. No one is perfect.

  • @prefscription dude, shut up.

  • I have lost too many family members due to cancer. I have lost my Dad, Grandpa, and my Aunt. Fuck cancer.

  • For those arguing with me...

To say Steve Jobs did not play a role in product design is ignorant. Every great design starts with an idea.

  • @thecreativeone doesn't mean all idea's are his. He was a good CEo but i surely won't miss him because he wasn't a great person.

  • @prefscription If you think Steve Jobs didn't care about design and customer satisfaction, then you are wrong. A business is supposed to make money. There's nothing wrong with that. However, the fact that Steve looked beyond that and saw a culture in Apple's products, that's what matters. Steve played a very large role in accepting the right products. He chose what he thought we wanted as customers.

And yes, Steve did have a large role in design. To claim such a bold statement is wrong.

  • even taco bell posted a rip on facebook

  • steve saw the world in a way no one eles could and he saw the potential in everything he touched

  • rip steve jobs and i'm gonna watch the office now

  • In respect to him, I am using his pic as my profile pic on facebook for a couple of weeks.

  • Never liked Apple and never liked how restricted their products were, but really its sad to see someone that changed technology pass away.

    R.I.P Steve Jobs

  • My friend who I least expected to know about technology notified ME about the death of Steve Jobs. I wasn't sad at first, but today, I am really starting to feel upset.

  • Nice vid, David. Thanks for that.

  • thanks to Steve jobs because without him there would be no android.... big up to you David stay creative.

  • David, I felt the same way about how everyone came together on wednesday. It really was amazing to see all the love and support from all walks of life. I also really like your channel and all of your videos, it's a sad day when a new one isn't up! So please keep up the fantastic work and thanks for all you do! Your love for technology is really inspiring.

  • I am a self-labelled Microsoft fanboy, I have a Windows phone, and always direct everyone to their products first. But there's no denying the imprint that Steve left on the technology industry and without him I am pretty sure technology wouldn't be the way it is today. As much as I personally do not like the products, the iPhone and iPod revolutionized everything.

  • Even The Online Dictionary Has A Video About Him

  • Well, I don't own a single Apple product and I find items such as the iPad and iPod(I prefer regular mp3 players) pointless to myself, so Jobs's death is just another celebrity death to me. While I do feel sad that died, it's just not that big of a deal to me. Apple will live on without him. If this offends anyone(you David), then I apologize, but this how I feel.

  • You forgot to mention the fact that he had an illegitimate child

  • Please stop saying things like "get over it, live moves on". His death was a huge loss to humanity as a whole, on par with Thomas Edison's. He really was not your average person, he changed the world and the society which we live in today was shaped by his presence. So, please stop saying things like "get over it", you are in fact trolling, no matter whether you think you are or not. You just end up insulting everyone. If you have nothing good to say about Steve, or this video, don't say it at

  • @K2ACP Agreed. Well said.

  • @K2ACP Steve Jobs made is loss to Humanity he did great things but Not on par with Thomas Edison's he made one of the Greatest Inventors ever he changed the world so much with one Invention don't get me wrong Steve jobs changed modern Technology and changed society but Without Thomas Edison the world would be at least Still Probably in the Technology stages of the late Victorian times so 1880's maybe less we don't know but still R.I.P Steve jobs he will be remembered by millions across world

  • @inTHEwrongGENERATION ever heard of a period?

  • @behomeful I said he changed The modern World But he not Change it as Much As the Like of Edison in his time I Perfectly well said he changed society well society In the west and Other rich Nations Steve Jobs was Amazing with what he did But in No way or form did he change Modern Society like Edison changed his period Personally I think Music has Changes Society a million times more Can't deny that Music has changed society so much

  • @inTHEwrongGENERATION I SAID HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A FUCKING PERIOD

  • bill gates even said words on steve jobs

  • To most Apple users, Steve was like a friend and his loss was tremendous. You could see the care he put into his products and his keynotes. Apple is really the only company that truly cares 100% about their products and strives for them to be perfect for the general person using it. They may not always be right nor will their products fit everyone. However, the care Steve Jobs and Jon Ive and Co. put into their products creates the strong brand loyalty that some apple users, such as myself have.

  • Thumbs Up for IPhone 4Steve

  • @CJCA915 sure we should move on, but we should never forget his contributions to the world. The media and people are covering his death because they genuinely care about him and his legacy. His death was a tremendous loss of talent for the world and he's just the guy you cannot replace in any way. As for MJ, his death was uncertain and odd which is why the media covered it so much. MJ also contributed a lot for music, which is also why the media covered it

  • No matter how you look at it, if you are a Microsoft fanboy, an Apple fanboy, Linux, whatever company you support, Steve Jobs and Apple influenced your tech. He helped revolutionize cell phones. He helped make simple computing mainstream. He created a new business opportunity with the iPad. Most of all, he created a revolution in technology that will change our lives for the better. Rest in Peace, Steve Jobs. Great vid, David

  • I greatly appreciated the reaction of people from all different platforms on Steve Jobs' death and the tokens of appreciation companies like amazon and google have left on their home page that lead to apple's home page. People from all different platforms payed their respects to Steve, such as his friend and rival- Bill Gates and the Google guys- Sergei Brin and Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg offered a paragraph on his thoughts on Steve Jobs

  • Well said. Such an amazing human being.

  • "Think Different".

    -Steve Jobs

  • I really do agree with you. This morning I didn't wake up good either. Just such a tragedy. But always remember, if you do, he HAS changed the lives of others.

  • My dad died too cancer. I'm 13 and he died at 9

  • I'm going to be naming my iPhone 4s "Steve" as well as engrave "R.I.P Steve Jobs" on the back. We lost a great visionary.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs, your contributions to the tech world were immense. You changed the way we think about both computing and listening to music. You taught us that it's possible to start out putting together circuit boards in your parent's garage and eventually end up with a multi-billion dollar business, and to never give up. Thank you, rest in peace, you will be missed.

  • I've never purchased an Apple device... if I want to listen to music, I load it up on my computer... if I'm doing something away from the computer, chances are, the music would just be a distraction...

  • Yeah he was 56 when he died

  • It wasn't Steve Jobs that thought this stuff up, it was the engineers and designers at Apple... Jobs was just a PR person, he was the CEO... he ran the company, he didn't design squat after his business got off the ground...

  • @CJCA915 Without Steve Jobs, those engineers and designers wouldn't be working on said products in the first place. It just takes one person to change everything.

  • @thecreativeone He was only their employer... nothing more... so giving him credit for their work, is wrong, just because he's the head man of the company... you never saw him say "I" did this, he always said "We."

  • @CJCA915 Steve Jobs did make a difference... a HUGE difference. Without him, products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad would't exist. You'd be narrow-minded to think otherwise. And never once did I say the entire Apple team doesn't deserve credit.

You know, it only takes one person like yourself to ruin the mood for others. But whatever... You're missing my point. I'm not going to argue with you on this type of video. It's downright disrespectful. If you have anything else to say, email me.

  • @thecreativeone I'm not saying he didn't have a big part in it... but everyone, & I mean, the media, etc. seem to be focused on him, & attributed all of Apple's success to him... the only reason the media is covering it, is so they can make a buck... they drug on Michael Jackson's death for months...

Well, I'm sorry to poop on everyone's high moment... but the reality of it is... exactly that... people need to move on... yes, he was a key player in the tech world, it's time to get back in gear.

  • @thecreativeone not just apple products dude, computers as a whole may have never been such a prominent things in civilian lives if it weren't for him - he made it a thing for normal people to use for entertainment purposes. Not to mention Pixar, he was the main person to fund pixar in its begining stages - without him, there would be no pixar for sure.

  • @CJCA915 Just throwing a fact out there. Without Steve Jobs that company would not exist right now. In the 90's the company was doing horrible. That's why Apple called Steve to rejoin them in the 90s.

  • @MYSTERIOUSTECHIE Yes, and if I recall, Microsoft had to chip in and help them as well...

  • @CJCA915 what he was responsible for was the quality of all his items. I can't even imagine how many products came his way and were turned down because it didn't meet his standards. Also, I don't know of a better promoter than Steve Jobs. I was never a big Apple fan but I had a huge amount of respect for Mr. Jobs. In the world of technology, he was the most innovative force. Apple's turnaround was all him and his standards. He may not have been the inventor but he certainly had the fore-site.

  • @JulioBatista66 Well, I give credit where credit is due, and I will give Steve the credit for stuff he himself did, nothing more nothing less...

  • I really don't understand the comparison between steve jobs and newton, or even edison. The Newton link is purely based on the apple, the two have surprisingly little in common otherwise. And while Edison did great things, I feel that they aren't comparable because Edison did much of his work alone, whereas Steve was working with others. Not to take anything away from Steve though, his passing is a huge loss and will be greatly missed. And I would go as far as saying he's the greatest CEO ever.

  • @brad775512 A fairy tale is a type of short narrative that typically features such folkloric characters, such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, dwarves, giants or gnomes, and usually magic or enchantments.

Some of the stuff in the Adam and Eve story is just a little magical, like the talking snake, etc. yea, that's not reality.

  • The media always makes a big deal over people like this dying... they'll no doubt do the same crap with Bill Gates, etc.

  • R.I.P Steve Jobs. He was the one guy who had changed the world with the revolutionary Apple products. He was the one guy who made a life better and what it is today. I remembering him presenting all the Apple events I will miss him. I shall donate to a cancer research cause when I get the chance to. We will miss you Steve.

  • People die everyday, from all sorts of things, that's life... I don't get hung up on it, even if it's someone I really cared about... acting like you didn't know it was coming is what throws most people off track...

Granted, I'm not talking about murder, etc. I'm talking about death by some biological thing, cancer, heart attack, liver disease, etc.

  • iSad

  • I will be sure to tell my kids about Steve Jobs in the future. They will always use Apple products.

  • @EricScottMedia You're going to force your kids to use Apple products? -_-

  • @CJCA915 I shouldn't have worded it like that. When they grow up i'll make them learn both OS X and Windows but my house will have primarily Apple products. When they want to make their own decisions they can buy what they like.

  • @EricScottMedia ah, ok.

  • What's with the Xmas lights already?

  • After hearing that Apple used child labor for a short time... I'm not particularly thrilled...

  • @MrSonicB00m 1 of which is pure fantasy...

  • RIP Steve, you will be missed!

  • You know, i cried.

  • The only thing I don't get about his death is why are people crying over it? They never knew him personally, only as an innovator in technology.

  • @scottyxander You see thats the thing we never got a chance to meet him that is what makes us sadder :(

  • @scottyxander I agree.

  • @CJCA915 Troll. STFU.

  • @diegodaudt I'm not a troll or trolling, I'm just agreeing with their comment... the reason people get hung up, is because they assume it will never happen, on a subconscious level... and when it does, it just derails people... the fact is, people die, that's life... if someone I admired died, I'd be sad, but I wouldn't cry over it.

  • Whence I first heard of Steve Jobs' death, I literally almost went nuts, because Steve Jobs changed my life with his creations, like millions of other Apple fans. He will be missed. May the king of modern technology Steve Jobs rest in peace. :'(

  • I just hope that the company won't go down, like when they fired him.

  • Just to show you exactly how much people care,

When Michael Jackson died there were approximately 500 tweets per second.

With Steve Jobs it was at 10,000 tweets per second.

  • Also my next phone will be iphone.

  • bravo amico!

  • Thanks You Steve

  • David, his death touched me too. I agree with every word you've said. Cancer is a sucker! I'm mad and sad.

  • he will be remembered forever

  • It's messed up how we can have fully electric cars and touch screen phones but we can't find the cure for cancer.

  • RIP Steve Jobs. Gone but not forgotten!

Yesterday there was 10,000 tweets per second in mourning his death world record!

  • Thank you for this video David. How would you respond if this had happened to Bill Gates?

    -R.I.P. Steve Jobs

  • RIP Steve Jobs!

  • their is no argument about the contributions jobs made to the tech world...but seeing people saying things like 'he is the greatest person alive" makes me laugh...he was no angel...he was very anti charity and he screwed over a lot of people on his way to the top...he refused to pay support for his own daughter!!!

  • In the paper I heard that Steve Jobs had a greater legacy than Albert Instine!

  • Im going to buy the iPhone 4s(teve) just for him

  • In japan apple store lots of flowers outside and half eaten apples.

  • R.I.P Steve Job And His Awesomnessssss sss ss s

  • Without Steve Jobs, an Apple is just a fruit..

  • Twitter servers was down because of it.

  • Twitter servers was down.

  • deal extreme has a banner up to

  • my gran died of cancer 2 weeks ago david i no wat ur talking about

  • David you are the man! Love the video. Steve will never be forgotten.

  • He was an amazing man. He was the greatest person in the world. RIP Steve Jobs.

  • I still can't believe that he's dead.

  • In the next video, can you show us homer? :D

  • i was supprised when i heard that steve jobs died i was sad and im not even a huge apple fanboy i have a microsoft pc but i want the iphone and he will be missed

  • They should change the apple logo to the one with steve's face in it.

  •  Long live Apple. RIP Steve Jobs.

Im waiting to hear about conspiracies on saving his brain.

  • Steve. Jobs a. Very genius. Gay his deid oh no

  • Comment removed

  • Well done David.

  • @thecreativeone its not that serious that he died. yes he did do alot for the tech world but hes not jesus you should continue your life hes just one man.he did have cancer and died but yet when a 10 year old dies of cancer no one makes a vid for him

  • @TheChris9521 Steve did a LOT for the world, he changed the way we all see and use tech in our daily lives, even things seemingly unrelated and as simple as better easier to use packaging for products. Before Apple really became so massive and popular in the mainstream, boxes of things tended to be a pain in the ass to get into and get to the thing you bought, since then, more and more have become easier to use. May seem unimportant, but its the little things that add up like with Apple products

  • @TalesOfWar he changed alot but he is not the only one who would have thought of that he was great but then again life goes on.people need to stop talking about him as there close friends you only know one side as the corprate giant

  • RIP Steve Jobs. Your tribute David was very heartfelt. I also felt incredibly sad when I heard the news. A great loss to the world. He was a true inspiration.
