Think about it though with a joy stick on a console, you dont have nearly as much swiftness to aim as someone with a mouse. The joy has a set amount of maximum speed to it, where as a mouse you twitch it to the side and you turn around 180* instant, there is where the moue has an upper advantage. Only way this will be countered is if the game itself has a max speed of which you can turn around.
i think nobody here should think that just because there´s cross-platform playing, PC-Gamers will dominate the console-gamers. Every Core-Gamer who has much experience with a controller is as good as the same guy with the mouse.
Also you shouldn´t compare this with Co and BF3. here everybody have the same chances because there are not some shitty kill-streaks and overpowered attachments. everone who says that for CoD you need skill, hasn´t have played CSS.
I am a big fan of CSS got way to many hour played on it =). I wonder how this will change the CSS community. I definatly will buy this to try it out and if it is somehow bad (which i doubt cause its pretty much just and upgrade of the counterstrike series) then i will stick to CSS. And all BF and COD fanboys are just jelly cause they cant play a shooter that takes real skill. Oh and cross platform.. lol

@R96069 Well, I think it's just PS3 players. Xbox doesn't like Steam, cause players don't have to pay (I know that's not how simple it is, but that's how it is in simple terms). Same with Portal 2 cross-platform.

I agree the mouse is generally much better but I have seen some players that set console sensitivity to max and I think they are having a seizure when they play but they are just spinning in rapid circles and hitting mulitple, far spread, targets. It is going to come down to the skill of the player and what controls they happen to prefer/play best with.
so far if anyone has anything bad to say like, weapon models look poor(as ive seen in other csgo videos) its because csgo is at alpha stage, this is where most of the scripting and shit takes place, proper art and high grafics are the last thing they do before they realease a game, so i know this game will be great when its realeased

This game will have cross-platform gameplay between PC/PS3/Mac because of Steamworks, but Microsoft doesn't like that for whatever reason, so the Xbox version of this game is going to be several versions behind while the others are completely up to date and can play with each other! Hope Microsoft changes their mind, I want to play with my Xbox friends when I buy this for my PC. :P

Compare PC montages to console montages, look at how smooth and fast keyboard+mouse aiming is, now look back to controllers.

Lets compare COD for xbox and COD for PC. Does PC have aim assist? No. Do you see people dodging bullets in PC? No. To aim with a controller you use a thumb, with a mouse, you use you whole hand. Mouse and Keyboard is and always will be more accurate to controllers. You want proof?
Microsoft did a study, where they put hardcore elite COD console players and pinned them against average PC players. Guess what happened? The PC players owned the console players.

@M00TWUT no lol the reason why call of duty is so easy is because of iron sights and red dots. this is a game of skill where you only need crosshairs to kill people not a sight that helps you kill easier.

It's gonna be hilarious to see people trying to join WCG with PS3 dualshocks and getting ass raped.
Compare PC montages to console montages, look at how smooth and fast keyboard+mouse aiming is, now look back to controllers.
Any console player that never played with keyboard+mouse (ever), that takes it on practice for about a month or so, will already become 10 times better than this person is with the controller.

Looks like a piece of crap. Its just cs source with better lighting and more guns. They dident even bother to change the terrible radio shouts when you throw a grenade. Its just sad that it took them 7 years to add some new guns and lighting effects. Even the gun models look like a 10 year old slapped them together in his spare time. Cross platform sounds cool but its no reason to buy what is basically counter strike source. Counter strike is boring now. Just the same old shit.

@BEOWULF9965 Actually i dont get owned by "pc" players! im actually quite good using the mouse pad! yes i have a laptop and i own people the harder way ;D! im just saying now i can play my favorite game with something i grew up using a "controller". it just feels more comfortable for me. no hate tho on the pc players but i grew up using controllers. and now there wont be any hackers which is way better.

Lets compare COD for xbox and COD for PC. Does PC have aim assist? No. Do you see people dodging bullets in PC? No. To aim with a controller you use a thumb, with a mouse, you use you whole hand. Mouse and Keyboard is and always will be more accurate to controllers. You want proof?
Microsoft did a study, where they put hardcore elite COD console players and pinned them against average PC players. Guess what happened? The PC players owned the console players.

Only console that will offer cross-platform support is the PS3 and because a mouse and keyboard is such a high advantage over a controller, valve is offering mouse and keyboard support for the PS3 in the game. But even then, the PC community is going to be better due to the fact that it has much more experience with Counter Strike.
