  • A beautiful, soulful song sung so well with great feeling. Thanks. You are such a talented young man. Glad I met you.

  • Very very very nice song mate!

  • A+ Seeso Another Great song

  • did you know that Perdita means "little lost one?" It's also the name of one of the main characters in Shakespeare's "the Winters Tale," so named because she gets abandoned on an island. that's what I thought of when I saw this, and it was most excellent!

  • @austinlove1 Yes, I did! Her online nickname is Perdita, but the added imagery from its many connotations was just a great bonus.

  • This is a beautiful song and you really sing it well.

I think I'll be trying to learn it also. :)

  • @nachowayne Awesome! Let me know how it goes.

  • Wonderful song, going to try and learn to play it and spread the word to my friends

  • @James1Penguin Thanks a lot, man!

  • really nice tune bro...

  • Wow...you are amazing

  • LOL

  • You remember me so much on Tom Waits. Your voice is great!

  • Seeso is the best musician on YouTube.

  • seeso, i adore you and your music. your sweet songs always touch my heart. i know i sound corny, but hey, its the truth. keep up the amzing work because i know i'm not the only person who loves to hear your music.

  • Another truly beautiful song. Well done.

  • One of your best original songs.

  • you have a great voice man! Well written songs too. I hope you go on tour...Art

  • Def. a country song.... lol not your best but i stayed enthralled til the end....

  • i cannot stress enough how much this song is indescribable, there are no words to substitute for how much i relate to this song. been in love for 5 years and live a long distance apart but one day me and my woman will be together.

  • OK - first of all - WOW!

What a great cry in your beer tune!

(Or cry in your whiskey as the case may be!)

I'd love to cover this when I gig, but as long and slow as it is, I fear I'd lose the attention of the audience before I even got halfway through. Great Great Tune!

  • man, im trying my hardest to help you out seeso. i see so much talent out of you. im only a 19 year old struggling college student but no worries, im one of the most popular kids hehe so i try my best to spread the word of Seeso hehe or should i say Johnny Lobo hehe

  • my cats name is perdita...she would love to love you...:)

  • Xcelente'. truer lyrics were never written over a bar keepers dream. you nailed it:))

  • You're a great story teller. Keep writing.

  • I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It sounds so pure and sincere. :)

  • Amazing use of words in the lyrics. You are very talented.

  • man i like this song, like being on the trail or something...truely great one.

  • Luis, thanks so much man. Nope, my career hadn't really started yet. Still working on it. Peace.

    I feel that way sometimes.

    Another great song.

  • Thanks, Lenden.

  • Really nice, from the soul, or your a good actor!! ;)

  • Ha ha! Well, I am an actor... :)

  • I needed a good beer-drinking song so I came over here to listen while I drink one of my last Christmas beers. It's a good thing this is a long song.

    ;-)

    Cheers!

  • Heheheheh... Mine are all gone! They were soooo goooood. :)

  • sad n sweet just beautiful, I am really liking your music!

  • So glad you're enjoying my stuff! Peace.

  • hahahaha! that was really funny!

  • Glad you liked it!

  • Funny and blue. You certainly know different styles. This, too, reminds me of early Dylan. Takes the song through twists that surprise that make it funny, or mostly, more sad and broken-hearted. Great. You make my late nights sooo mellow.

  • Hi Web Nanny! Thanks so much for your kind comment. Take care!

  • i love the lyrics!

  • Thanks!

  • I enjoyed the theater version as well. Beautiful stuff.

  • Thanks for listening to that. Hope all is well with you.

  • lol beautiful song with lyrics with swears :P

  • Ha ha! I couldn't get rid of those swears.

  • Beautiful.

  • Thanks.

  • i never thought a song with a line "i'd cheer your ass up" would make me cry.. *wipes.tear* Narciso, you're a great artist. i now have a new song for my midnight-alone-in-my-room-crying playlist.Ü

  • Aw, Casey... You are the best.

  • OK these are some of the best lyrics I've ever read - and I really mean that!

  • Noah, thanks so much, man. I worked really hard on them, glad you like it.

  • Wow, I'm like Patti Boyd...

Of all the songs I've inspired--and there have been a couple others--this one is by far the best, and my favorite.

  • Hey, there you are!! We should make a video of "The Whiskey Song." What do you say?

  • i would love to get buy a cd when it comes out. your awsome

  • I'm shooting for March 1st! Thanks!

  • So what about performing in NY? When r u shooting for this?

  • I have nothing planned at the moment... First things first!

  • Awesome dude, I've been playing some of your material at parties and stuff on my uke. Of course my voice is nothing like yours, haha, but I think I do you proud.

  • Sweet! That's very cool. Now where's my money?

    XD

    Just kidding, bro...

  • haha, checks in the mail. But seriously, the songs get a great response, like the guy below me, let me know when a cd comes out. And I do give you credit when I play them.

  • YOU ROCK!!!!!!! so damn good!!!

do you have a cd out! i live in England and wanna get everyone i know to listen to your work its truely amazing!!!

  • No not yet! I hope to be done with my cd by the end of February. I hope you still remember who I am when that time comes!

  • oh hell yeah i listen to you everyday at work!! i wanna learn how to play "Thank you for leaving me" its soo good..you will have to let everyone know when your cd is out!!

    do you have a website?

  • Did you download the chord sheet for "Thank You..." yet? It's in the video description. I have to update my website, it's horribly out of date. Look for the cd in March! Peace.

  • Your voice is only the second to bring tears to my eyes....the first was Paul Pena! Your amazing!

  • I just bought "Night Train" thanks to you. Paul Pena is amazing! I can't believe I've never heard of him. Thank you!!!

  • Yes...he really is amazing and you remind me of him! And, since you've never heard of him...then you really, really need to see the documetary about him. It's called "Ghengis Blues". I promise you will LOVE it!

  • I'm really dying to see that film. I think I'll order it. Thanks so much!!!

  • Oh, look at me...I didn't even spell it right. "Genghis Blues" is the title and if it's not too much trouble and you happen to remember...please let me know what you think! It's my fav. doc. :)

  • DAMM! another GREAT FUCKING SONG damm your good. i seriously wish the best for you, are you signed yet?

  • No, sir, not yet. Glad you like this one! Peace.

  • im defenitly a fan now, great!! you rule sigue asi!

  • Thanks, Daniel! You rule.

  • You're a hell of a musician and a hell of a poet...I only assume you're probably a hell of a guy too.

  • Katherine, you are too kind. Can I clone you?

  • Knock yourself out. But you don't need too...your voice & music has oodles of hearts melting. You'll have your pick. You really should send royalties & roses to that girl.

  • I actually think I will send her some royalties, if they ever come. And I've had nary an oodle from YouTube... Unless I count you. ;)

  • Beautiful song.. Also like all your covers! Now you have fan in Russia.

  • Вы!

  • wow this is amazing. whats the instrument called?

  • It's an ukulele.

  • legend johnny cash knew his lyrics were tru 2 his own life, if i close my eyes dis would def sound like his wen he was n his prime, keep goin y'll goin somewhere great!

  • Thanks, Te Paea! I'll keep on keeping on...

  • wow... this is such a beautiful song. i know the frustration of song writing as i play guitar and 'attempt' to write songs. but i could only aspire to write something as beautiful as this. anyone who has bad-mouthed any of your music is pathetic. music is expression and anyone who says anything against someones expression clearly has no confidence in their own expression. good luck with the cd dude

  • Dude, thanks so much. That means a lot. All my best to you, brother.

  • Fantastic lyric about being her whisky. Captures so much in one analogy. Good job, man.

  • Thanks a lot, again, man!

  • you need to make a cd and git a record deal

  • I'm working as hard as I can! Thanks!

  • adorei sua musica... você naturalmente nao vai entender... mais adorei do mesmo jeito!

    continue assim

  • Obrigado muito muito!

  • i freakin luhv this one i wish i was his henessee i luhv nina simone too

  • Nina is the queen.

  • ive commented it before but i must again, that voice of your voice is so original, it reminds me of dylan (bob dylan) at times. Your lucky, you have your ticket to freedom (your voice) hehe good luck with it =] OHH! also something i havnt seen to many comments on is your lyrics, "Thank You For Leaving Me" one of the BEST LYRICS EVER hehe

  • Hey, there, Melvin! Thanks for the kind and generous comments. They are very much appreciated.

  • This is one of those songs that I'd try to play sitting on a porch in the rain. It's got that peaceful almost hymnal feel. Good stuff man.

  • That sounds cool, but you can't forget the whiskey!

  • And a cup.

  • I really like this one. I know I've said that a lot. But I really like it. The lyrics are really spectacular, and I like your voice. It's really unique and matches your songs really well.

  • Thanks so much. I'm really glad you can appreciate something different!

  • the choruses on your originals are superb.

  • Thanks very much, Janet.

  • wow, i just realized my profile had my mom's name listed, and i don't know why.

  • LOL! Whoops.

  • Like the fact that your sharing your music. I can seem to relate to a few of your songs I have seen. Your kind of a big inspriation to me. I cant play and instrument. Which stinks, but I can sing pretty well. I think I am going to start posting up my music. I a little afriad of doing so, but your music inspires me to try. So, I am going for it. Thanks.

  • Awesome, dude. Go for it.

  • great voice...amazing

  • Thank you again, Morena!

  • You have a great deal of talent and a lovely, lovely voice!

  • Thanks, mom!

  • I really do love your voice and your music.

  • Seeso, Did it again, great imagery again. I do not know if you ahve ever seen the movie Eddie and Cruisers, but in the move there is a line to the effect "all you need is words and music" That applies to what i have seen so far from you. Great words and music, who do we need to start emailing to get you a shot?

  • I saw that movie. It's a rock and roll classic. "Dark side comin now, nothin is real..." Love it!

As far as who to email? No idea. I'm as in the dark as you are, friend.

  • Don't worry Seeso - the A&R guys have youtube accounts and are watching you for sure. Record labels use Youtube for potential artists first 'year of development' - for musicians, its like an internship ... just wait it out babes, you'll get signed for sure!

  • We shall see, cutie pie. I'm not gonna hold my breath. My first responsibility is my YouTube subscribers.

  • AND you are super talented and that's cool! Ok bye now! LOL

    ;-)

Wonder if the kid has any concept of....

    hypocrisy.

  • Great once more. i can almost imagine this sound in a movie..maybe one day :D

  • That would be great. A friend of mine wrote a little play around it. A 15 minute little musical. I changed it into a duet. They recorded it. I'll post the link in the video description.

  • great! great! great!

your voice in this song reminds me a little of Randy Travis.

    Keep Then Coming!!

  • Maker's Mark is my favorite sippin' whiskey. I couldn't leave it out! Thanks for the wonderful comment, Glydes.

  • yeah, just another response. as i further analyze the lyrics, i realize what a writer you are. great songwriting through and through...great story, creativity abound...thumbs up on the strum work..(obviously)...and not one line for me to get OCD over! hahaha. great work...not a huge fan of the country-style, but i do appreciate the writing and work put in.

  • Holy cow, I passed the Madore test.

  • wow, this song really is amazing. This is going to become a great bar room classic

  • can you play it with a faster tempo...this song reminds me of the great bar jukebox tune by garth brooks - friends in low places

  • But if he played it with a faster tempo, then it wouldn't be long enough. ;-)

  • I've actually tried to play it faster to make it a little shorter, but it just didn't feel right.

  • That would be too amazing for words.

  • Is it long? I didn't notice.

    D.

  • May I nominate you for President of the United States next year? No Democrat or Republican would stand a chance against you. Carry on leading the Nation!

    D.

  • One ukulele for every man, woman and child!

  • This is sooo sweet Seeso!

  • this is one long song.

  • That it is.
