It's important to note that the denouncement of religion is every bit a part of doing what is "GOOD". We ARE focusing on the "GOOD", when we point out something causing harm, unopposed. Opposing harm is a great way to do "GOOD", so I disagree with that assertion.
What atheism needs now (sadly) is evangelism. We are starting to wake up to this inevitable reality. We need to evangelize science and even have buildings of science, reason and rationality!!!OH THE HORROR!!! :.(
