I'm impressed that the developers managed to completely lobotomize the computer players, after doing a great job on it in Civilization IV. I've heard a lot about it, and I just witnessed a prime example of AI's aggressiveness and lack of a sense of grand strategy. Just move on to other games...

I think you should do another campaign, especially now that you have done this. A random world instead of knowing what the world will be like.

Even take a random civ. You are good at strategy so roll with the challenge.

My suggestion would be to include more victory conditions than just a military victory. That way you get more options how to win.
