I love this song because I grew up listening to it thanks to my mom(: I'm 15 and my sister is graduation party is next week..I'm making a video for her and this is the song..I'm a big sixties fan love everything about it and that's the time it reminds me of kinda..I guess just cause it's about 'the good ol days'. And it reminds me of when I was younger..when I didn't have so many family conflicts in my life. People have gone, my grandpa who I was close with. This song just feels like home.

It makes me scared to grow up and look back on my childhood, regretting the risks I didn't make, the chances I didn't take, the dreams I didn't chase. I first heard this song when it was used in a camera commercial many years ago. And since then every time I hear this song I associate it with taking photographs . But also listening to it now does make me note that Paul Anka was not really a great singer and was at best kinda mediocre. So no great loss.

Love this song. Like many other posters here, I'm in my 40's (47 to be exact). Fills me with sadness. So many loved ones are gone from my life. My Dad, an old boyfriend (who wasn't really so old and I was still frineds with him), aunts, uncles, cousins. I do miss the "old days".  Have always loved this great song. I cherish my family, but sometimes, just wish I could go back for one more weekend at the home where I grew up and have so many happy memories.
