if i were doing this temple run i would take this route: 1. slide into the ledges 2. pass into the pit of the pendulum 3. go into either king's storeroom or scared markers room 4. into room of the ancient warriors 5. pass through into shrine of silver monkey 6. into secret password room 7. into quicksand bog 8. through dark forest and then its a straight shot to the printing plate imo

#1. They PROBABLY WILL NOT make it to the artifact. I know that there are a few temple runs where one person made it. But that is extremely RARE, it's more than likely that they'll get caught.
#2. The first person should be the FASTER of the two. His/Her job is to blaze a trail and open as many doors as possible before getting caught. So the second person has an easier time

Jason might not have been particuarly smart, but that layout was brutal. The second guard was in the room adjacent to the artifact, and was at the far end of the temple, making it extremely difficult for the second runner to catch up. Ironically they would've been better off going to the crypt, and meeting the first tempe guard there.
He looked for the key in the other tree while the temple spirit's hand was on his back. That was proof that there was a temple guard in the dark forest.
The temple spirit in the dark forest should have got Jason when he entered the room, not when he was looking for the key behind him! That temple guard patted Jason ON HIS BACK!
In both cases of the temple guard capture he knew they were there and wanted to avoid them, but there was no way around it. His problem was that in trying to avoid the temple guards he waisted a lot of time. The team had 2 pendants so he should've been more willing to sacrifice himself so his team-mate would have more time. He also made the mistake of not taking the door from the shrine of the silver monkey to the dark forest, it opened. That was another waste of time.

To me, you need a little more strategy with skill: for this run, it seems that the third jerk could've been at the Crypt or King's Storeroom. Either way, it could have been easier for him to sacrifice himself and let his partner take the hit from the tree because they had 2 pendants. With the Court being the only safe area, they might have gotten the plate.
