There's no doubt in my mind that i'd rather be tazed. OC stays with you for hours. I got some in my mouth too when i was sprayed and fuck, not being able to see combined with almost suffocating.. Fuck that.

FOX 5.3 is hottest stuff on the market, with a 2% recovery time, (yes you people, the percentage reflects recovery time not heat, heat is measured by SHU's, in this case 5.3 Million SHU's) I am a trainer certifier for a police academy, we recommend AGAINST training with Fox 5.3, this stuff is so hot, subjects with soft skin can get bruises and black eyes. (coming from experience)

after we spray, the cadet must fight off an attacker, draw a gun and make it to a car and call for back up.

OC's kinda a double edged sword, if it's windy and your partner is close to the suspect, you're all getting hit..

Driving afterwards won't be easy either.

A taser is far preferable to mace or OC.

That is cool. My 12 year old son and I pepper sprayed each other with some LE spray just to experience it. Just like in the video, it does work but it doesn't necessarily take the fight out of the attacker. This is where a Taser could be more effective.
