I love games that you actually play on a table...and most of must admit that there isn't any game(if you want to learn all races:) that is harder to learn then the 40k rules....still on today i see nobody wothout the rule book...its impossible to rememver all rules.

But i can't see myself standing behind the table..shouting...like a marine.."hope is the first step on the road of dissapointment"..lol inmagine going to a tabletop battle in a terminator suit...sreeming some stuff about the emperor

Pure role playing like that is rare these days and needs to be cherished, as in 15 more years we won't see this anymore, and that will herald the demise of RPing games. What kids play today isn't the D&D roleplaying game, it's "I play WoW and expect to see WoW on tabletop". Screw that to hell.

@FutureFrontLA so why don't the old guard go out and dominate the 4.0 games with true roleplaying instead of complaining that people who play 4.0 don't roleplay? Teach em by example. If you're (a general you, not specifically you) that good at roleplaying, you should be able to do it with any "role playing" game. But i'm in no position to preach i guess, i play homebrew, not D&D.

@pspboy7 - Old comment, I know, but still. I play pretty often and I will tell you now it's probably one of the most enjoyable games out there. Forget what people say about it, forget the nerdiness crap - if you find a group that's lighthearted and open to humor you'll probably laugh more than you ever have in your life.
