By calling into question and investigating the actions of the likes of the Taliban and Al Qaeda, he would be eventually branded "Mushrikun"(Hypocrite) and as such be marked for death at the hands of the faithful. In Islam, being killed in battle with the infidels is the prefered path to martyrdom, and the only way to guarantee of a place in the "great bordello in the sky".
