It is definitely one of the most depressing places I have visited. Infinite sorrows, regardless the circumstances of the island's past. It merely conjures the thought that the individuals who found their home here, are the result of a broken society; thrown away and ignored while the real cause of sickness is utterly denied, even to this day. Unhealthy society = unhealthy individuals. Cause and effect.
This has to be one of the most depressing places in the US. I would NEVER want to visit this location, so thanks for sharing.
