  • British Invasion, the best of pop music.

  • my favorite Chad and Jeremy song, thanks so much for posting this!!!

  • from the day i was born hahahahaha

  • I just love this dreamy and haunting song! Chad and Jeremy were/are a great duo.

  • I totally agree with you, pinknightstand. I love this song - I wish Adam Lambert of American Idol would do it - you know...put his "spin' on it. It would spring back to life.

  • adam can do wonders with this....i hope he wins!!

  • I hope he wins as well, Sunntann...I nearly fainted when he was in the bottom 3 last night. I just think he is so talented and would do this song incredible justice! Glad you agree. Let's keep our fingers crossed he takes the title of A.I.

  • could anything be more romantic, in the most enduring sense.. I think the imagery is clearly about someone dying of broken heart, and the lyrics support this throughout: "Bend your branches down/and cover me" grave image

  • sounds like a nice cememtery song!!

  • was the host Murray the K??

  • I absolutely agree. Exquisite and haunting. This always takes me to an exact spot in time....Magic we are not likely to see again.

  • One of my favourite songs. heavenly... like in an endless, strange and delicious dream.

    i adore chad and jeremy

  • Can someone PLEASE post the original recorded version that came out during the British Invasion!!!!!

    PLEASE !!!!

  • this is it, isnt it??? i know what u r talking about when u want to get every nuance of a song in there to bring back a memory or whatever but i do think this is it, even though i am not an expert of chad & jeremy although they made some great music with a summer song being my all time faavorite.

  • I think what dowop4 means is that there was a line cut out from the bridge probably due to time limits on the show.

  • My favorite C&J song...a beautiful cover of a very old song....from the 1930s!!!

  • Do you remember a non-hit of theirs called "Paxton Quigley's Had The Course"? I heard it on the radio in summer of 1969. But apparently it didn't make the Top 40.

  • I love this song.

The set is very beautiful too.

  • one of my all time favorite songs. Thanks for having it!
