and also with jess when andrew was talking to them both jessica replied back and just tries to be the one everyone looks at when really i dont think she is fun, i think she TRIES to be fun and then says "Im so quirky" blah blah blah were as Sophie is more noticed than Jesica cuz she's more natural and doesent over try performence wise and personality wise GO SOPHIE!

sophie really did look like something had really hit her when she first walked on. I dont think she had enough attitude, but she is briliant, just i think nerves got the better of her. jessica is brilliant as well.

sophie's performance was brill over all, need better songs tho, maybe some musical theatre as that is what the show is all about , i think jess struggles with balads, this could be a problem as i think the actual song "over the rainbow" it a pritty high pithy song in places, when people go to see the wizard of oz in the west end they are going to expect the song to be sang to a great standard and im not sure jess is going to be able to do that ?

Jessica and ballads really don't seem to go, the beginning just showed that her range isn't that great. She like ... croaked and went all breathy on the lower notes. Meh. Sophie sung fantastically though =D, I love how she's not vying for attention, like some of the other girls (not naming any names *cough* Jess *cough*) ox

I agree XXstiletto. a lot of John's critiques are not on. it is obvious who he really likes, and even if they didn't do a great job he would still say they would. however, i think Sophie was better last week. Jess is great and can be way more than a character actor. i really like her. i am not partial to the peter pan sack like frock they put her in.

@punkeDeMo Same .... I think She's amazing :-) All John does is criticize Sophie's performances and singles her out as the weakest ( far from it imo.... must knock her confidence alot) yet he praised Emilie's dire vocals tonight ..... He hasn't got a clue :-p

If Sophie's throught next week I hope they give her a decent song to show her talent .....
