  • shalom alechem first i think you have to be more carefull when you say the beraja over the tallis because you have a very bad pronunciation and you said wrong some words in hebrew, and i remember you that is a blessing!!! its very important second: why did you said the name of g-d?? show your respect to g-d by not saying his name in vain ok? and as a recomendation for everyone if you are searching judaism search a rabbi, judaism is not yoshke(yeshua, jesus, etc.).

  • Thank you so much for this brief teaching, So where could I purchase a authentic Tallit?

  • Kuwait's right! شرح صلاه :)*

  • Praise be to God the father for Jesus who brought me out of bondage. I like this teaching and I pray even now the Lord Yah will make a way out of no way for the Jews in Israel . In the name of Yeshua .amen

  • excuse my ignorance, but can someone explain to me why is Jesus being mentioned here? I thought Jews totally disregarded Jesus. Have I misunderstood something here?

  • @dariod2007 They didnt disregard him.. they just simply didn't accept him saying that he was God.

  • @ZECHRAH Just the same as far as I know Jesus gets no mention / has no part in Jewish worship. I think this one is a "Messianic" Jew, which also the orthodox Jews hate with a passion from what I've seen. In any case... meeehh!

But thanks for taking the time to write.

  • @ZECHRAH he never says hes g-d, he says hes g-ds son, we are all our fathers son, g-ds children, dont take words littarly, especialy yeshua, he always speaks in riddles

  • @ZECHRAH he never says hes g-d, he says hes g-ds son, we are all our fathers son, g-ds children, dont take words littarly, especialy yeshua, he always speaks in riddles so that only the persons who bears good fruit can understand, not avreything he says is for evryones ears

  • @jomaelitskit "littarly" ? Why don't you check out Luke 7:18-23, 48-49; John 8:44-47, 56-58; 9:35-37; 10:7-11; 14:6. And many others that prove that Jesus not only says but proves that He is the Son of Man--different than merely human entering into 'sonship' with God like the rest of us (Romans 9:13-17).

  • @dariod2007 Jews acknowledge Jesus as a fellow Jew and teacher. Where they differ is that most all do not believe he is the Messiah. Along with that they do not believe he is the Son of Man, or put differently the Son of God both fully God and fully Man. But they do accept that Jesus was real, and had knowledge of Scripture. Hope this helps you. Messianic Jews are Jews who believe Jesus is the Messiah, and is the Son of God just as Christians do, and observe Jewish costumes.

  • @dariod2007 Not all Jews disregard Jesus (Yeshua) as the Messiah (Mashiach, 'Anointed One'). Messianic Judaism recognizes the religious practices of orthodox Judaism while acknowledging Yeshua as the fulfillment of all Old Testament prophecy regarding Mashiach.

  • @unwaveringwill Ok thanks for taking the time to tell me this. Mucho appreciated. And now ... for more of that rum .... hum dee dum , me and my Cuban rum! Oky doky!

  • @dariod2007 Jesus is the Jewish Messiah! Jesus is the fullfillment of the Jewish faith, reconciliation to God. Belieiving in Jesus is very Jewish. Many Jews, in Jesus' time were believers and followers of Jesus, Messiah and there are Jewish believers today as well, who accept the truth of who Jesus is.

  • @Lee94503 I agree with you, but try telling that to a Jew and see what response you get. There are messianic jews out there, this little I know. What I've experienced is that Jews in general are very anti Jesus. When my good friends invited me to become Jewish, the first thing they said to me was: No Yeshua, and no eating pork. This sentiment was repeated to me at other times by different people. Also I know for a fact that messianic jews are pesecuted in Israel. Tx for writing to me.

  • @Lee94503

This is a horrible thing to say. How can jesus be the fulfillment of the Jewish faith, when belief that he is a god goes against that very faith.

  • Hi there!!, very helpful teaching, I never received the prayer in phonics, it will greatly help me because I really want to learn this prayer, did you ever get my e-mail? Thanks for your help.

  • @hearselover1978 I have not received your email... Please call instead.. do not send emails via youtube because i will not read them.

  • Shalom, how are you? I sure hope you're doing fine, if you can please tell me where can I find, or how can I get the tallit pryer in writing, I do not read hebrew, but I will like to learn the pryer, thank you for any information, is there a phone nuber where I can reach you? A.J. Sanchez.

  • @hearselover1978 .. You can call Zachariah at 786 314 2571 ... we can send you the prayer blessing written phonetically... just like Willie Nelson learned to sing in Spanish.. phonetically... Call after March 28th, 2011

  • the thing Im concerned with is the kippah. which is not really biblical in a sence - but more traditional and rabbinical - as a believer I know the Karites are more Biblical than the Orthodox - who rely more on the Talmud which is the Oral Law - which if I am correct - was the traditions of men that Yeshua was talking about. now the skullcap itself was worn for protection - not for worship.

  • @rnmultimedia ... Its not a mitzvoh or commandment that requires a man to wear a Kippah but he can choose to wear one as reverence to Hashem and let others know that he is a jew.

  • Comment removed

  • @rnmultimedia When it comes to things that are not commanded, it does become a persons choice and not a legalistic manditory thing. So wearing Kippah is something you chose to do or not do. Thats the traditions that Yeshua was coming against, where teachers of the law were legalisticly inforcing things on people there were not commanded and making them a burden instead of a ways to glorify Adonai.

  • The wise men given gold, and frankincense, and myrrh onto the LORD as gifts. By which the Glory of God is like onto Gold "Glorified" frankincense onto Fire, and myrrh as in power of air. Son of man came by Mind, Word, Holy Spirit. Now fulfilment of the gifts of the wise men is the gift of the Holy Spirit, that sword of the air that will count for the eye for an eye, not of the flesh but who is in Air. Who has an ear?

  • Lo the four quarters thereof are like onto the four quarters of heaven, And at each end of heaven them that serve the LORD. By which God given them authority to work his will, by which is the Spirit of the living God, them that are bound to God ale.

By which Techelet is bind around Zizit's at the four ends, Now by which way shall the LORD fulfill the command of Tallit? Indeed bound by the Holy Spirit, Just as Tallit is around about you, so shall the Glory of God be around you, in his kingdom.

  • Lev 10:3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, ( "I" will be sanctified in them that come nigh me,) and before all the people ( I will be glorified.) And Aaron held his peace.

  • Lev 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

Lev 10:2 And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

  • Deu 22:11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

Deu 22:12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

    Lev 13:47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

  • Thank you for an eye opening video. Shalom

  • @DMRH69 Thank you... May the peace Adonai reign abundantly over your life.

  • Thank you soooo much for taking the time out to talk to me about the tallit. I speak blessings over you and your family in the name of Yeshua....Shalom!!!

  • @Descipleofchrist101 ...It is written and it has been written when Torah was given so why would you want to change that now. .. when you get ready for dinner do you not pray to Yahweh and thank Him for the provisions He has made ?

Hebrews and Jews alike recite a blessing prayer "Berachot" ... even for the washing of hands.

  • thank you so much for the information it has been a great help.. GOD bless you.

  • I'm not sure if I agree with the interpretation that Acts 18:3 refers to them being tallitot makers.

  • according to the ten commandments of the old testament, there is more than one god. the second commandment proves this. thou shalt have no other GODS besides me.

  • the ten commandments from the old testament prove there is more than one god. the second commandment says,"thou shalt HAVE no other GODS besides me.". this is clear that according to 'god' people should only follow him not they shouldn't follow any of the other gods.

  • please post ur email address so i can request & i would like to thank you for our talk today you were a real encouragement shalom

  • shalom...again i thank you & ask blessing on you please respond to my posting w/ a way to reach you i have questions .shalom :)

  • Call me at 786-314-2571

  • i thank you brother. this has helped me greatly. my wife purchased a tallit for me for christmas this year. you i believe i've been called out. i have been in the ministry 20 years & am tired of following rome.may G-D richly bless you.

  • You are so right... Judaism is the basis of which Christianity was built upon. After all , Yeshua was a Jew and died a Jew and was resurrected as a Jew... He still kept the Sabbath holy... He still went to Temple.. He observed the major holidays of the Hebrew calendar.

  • I love this deep understanding of the prayer shawl

  • Great teaching, i did not know the numerical aspect of the zitzit, the number of beats..

G-d bless you, may He provide your needs!

  • Its a very profound revelation to know this now.. I was impacted pretty much the same way.. I thank Yahweh for have given me the opportunity to learn this.

  • You are only under the renewed covenant when the Torah is written on your heart HEB>8:16; Jer.31:33. Christian does not mean follower of christ. Look up cretin in a dictionary. you will see that christian means a stupid, obtuse, mentally defective person.Saints in Acts was called Natsarin(watchmen)See Acts 24:5

They were rather called christians by the Greeks to make fun of them.We cannot call our Saviour Jesus for then you pray to 2 Gods. His name is Yahushua, meaning Yahuah(Father) is salvation.

  • i am under a renewed covenant when the laws of God are written in my heart agreed, but I AM ALSO UNDER A NEW COVENANT BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS DID FOR ME, I ACCEPTED HIM INTO MY LIFE AND NOW I SEE CLEARER, I AM BORN AGAIN AND THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD LIVES IN ME, THANKS BE TO YESHUA FOR SAVING ME!!!!!!

  • @marioakayoyo .. ok that is fine... but keep the Sabbath Holy... rest on the Sabbath... Saturday not Sunday.

  • Thank you for this teaching but easter 6:39 is not a Scriptural feast. It is a feast in honor of Ishtar the goddes of fertility, the mother of Tammuz, the sun deity reincarnated on December 25th.

  • Sorry i made an error... its too late to change it now but i did make comments on it.

  • ZECHRAH, YHWH bless u for being humble n even appologizing... that is a growing rarity in what are supposed to be believers in GOD n not men

  • thank you for this Vid. :)

  • thanks. I am a christian who wants to follow jewish tradition. But have no clue how.

  • Great video. The LYYHT will be shining soon.

  • Very informative

  • No not really. We are not jews for that you would have to make conversion to Judaism in order to be a jew. We recognize that Yashua was Jewish and he died a jew. Christian is not an ethnicity as it is simply a way of life. Messianic jews are still Jewish but they recognize the Messiah. It is our obligation however to keep the Sabbath holy which means fri night to sat night but yet you worship on Sunday. I ve done my homework. So you should be keeping Torah if you consider yourself a JEW

  • Is a judaeo christian a person that believes in Jesus but follows jewish traditions and celebrations?

  • I am a Christian but have always considered becoming a Messianic Jew, not because I feel I am required, but because so many Christians have failed to realize how the Jewish Feasts and Holidays all have a place in the life and death of Jesus. By better understanding the OT you will then understand the NT

  • your welcome to became a part of the movment! I had a similar feeling myself. I consider myself a Messianic Jew.

  • Remember that a Messianic Jew was a Jew first who has accepted Yeshua as the Messiah. So if you are a Christian then you are simply one who has embraced Torah and the Hebrew Calendar. Not necessarily a Messianic Jew.. unless you make conversion to Judaism. In order for the conversion to be recognized you would have to covert via an Orthodox shul then make the transition over to Messianic movement. That is usually the order.

  • Anyone who converts to Judaism for reasons other than the keeping of the Torah, is not a true convert and the conversion is invalid. No Orthodox shul would convert someone who wants to be a Messianic.

  • @drwatson1234 , that is correct as far as rabbinical teaching goes, but when a jew recognizes that Yeshua is the Messiah then the only person that counts pleasing is G-d and no matter what rabbinical council calls a conversion valid or invalid is of no consequence. The only "being" whos opinion matters is the Supreme Being. Yeshua said to obey His commandments. (Torah) Any man made command out side of that (rabbinical or church) is of no real value especially if it doesn't align with Torah.

  • @YeshuaisMoshiach777 .... Beautifully put. The spirit of God truly had a hand in this response

  • What about what the Apostle Paul says in Romans 2:28: 29 "No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God"

Doesn't it make "Christians" and "Messianic Jews" one since we believe in the same Lord and we await His return

  • @ZECHRAH Ritual conversion?

  • @ZECHRAH - i actually have stopped using the term "Messianic Jew" or "Christian" to define my faith. I just day Im a Biblical Believer. or just a hebraic believer.

  • Hi LukeL007.14months ago Yahuah by His grace revealed the truth to me and my wife concerning His commandments. I was a christian for 19years but prayed for the truth, and now the truth set me free from christian and other religeous views. The revelations we received directly from the Father's Spirit. No man told us anything about these truths. Yahuah just removed our religeous glasses so we could see.

  • Blessings my brother!!!! Thank you for your videos. I'm also a sephardic descendent born and raised in Puerto Rico. We are helping others to go back to our Jewish roots and teaching many evangelical churches the thrue Yeshua HaMashia and the many lies that the Catholic church has spread around the world. We need to go back to the Torah and live the way that HaShem wants us to live. There is only one people of Go-d and that is Israel. We are one in his hand, we are Israel!!! Shalom Ubrajot!

  • Hashem would not want for you to behave in your flesh. According to what I know about the The Laws of Speech Chofetz Chaim you can lose your place in the world to come Olam Habah by insulting or publicly embarrasing someone. My ancestors were jewish and that i did not come here to destroy or corrupt anyone. I am simply an observer and a student. My mothers last name is: Blanco and Ortiz from my grandmother. They are both Sephardic.

  • What if I told you that I am a Jew. That both my grandparents are Jewish. Are you familiar with Chofetz Chaim ? The Laws of Speech that according to Torah Law in Kitzer Aruch .. Hashem made biblical commandments against those that are willing to speak in retaliation that you could lose your place in the world to come "Olam Habah".. I am not masquerading or posing but rather taking the teachings of the Torah to all believers of Yahweh whether its in an evangelical platform. G'mar Hasimah tova!

  • I love Tallits they are all so beautiful.

  • that is so interesting. I have considered many times of becoming a messianic beliver.

  • Shalom!!!

I really want to congratulate Mr Valentino, cuz his explanation helped me to understand a lot of things about talit, tzit tzit; their meanings and the way to wear it propperly.

  • Blessings to you, my brother in Yeshua! Thank you your teachings.. May the Two become One in HIM, both the Apple of G-d's eye and those grafted into the Vine!!

  • the blessing for a tallit is

baruch atah adonai eloheinu melech haolam asher kideshanu bemitsvotav vetzivanu lehitatef bat tzitut

  • thank you for sharing the words of the blessing. Where is this commandment in the old testament. Thanks.

  • Shalom, Zech'Rah -

This is an EXCELLENT video. Very helpful to me for sure on the eve of our first Passover! May YHWH continue to bless your ministry. We will lift you up in prayer and gratitude on this Passover and in the future. Shalom uvracha!!!

    John Gardner & mishpachah.

  • Thank you for this brother. Peace be with you; may YaHuWaH bless you... in the name of the Torah! I wear the Tallit always... making a 'little tent' at all times... in prayerfulness towards our Lord. Thank you again. Praise God, The Sole Creator. Peace, K

  • Sir where can I purchase a tallit similar to the size of the one you show in your video?

  • I emailed you today. Paypal is a good way to make a payment. I know that once you receive your tallit you will love to see how beautiful this mantle is. Shalom

  • Thx alot

  • Thank you for this teaching.

    deitra

  • Shalom... thank you visiting and making your presence known... Kol Tov, Zach'riah

  • Beautiful I'm Jewish and I think it's good that Christians are following their OLD JEWISh ROOTS again and following exactly what the Torah or Bible commands.I think anyone even a JEW should believe in Jesus if they want. After all Jesus was a Jew.

  • Shalom Uvracha. Thank you for the comment. Kol Tov...........Zach'Riah

  • I'm a Christian and I think we should get back to our Jewish roots too :)

  • I agree totally Hottietoya, I agree totally. Jesus never started a new religion only a new way which included Gentiles into the fold. Let's get our heritage back and embrace the Jewishness of Christianity!

  • I'm a Christian and I think we should get back to our Jewish roots too :)

  • Thats true, Its safe to call it Pesach not pagan Easter garbage.

  • Wonderful video! I want to get one.

  • I just ordered my Tallit from Isreal. Cant wait until it comes!

  • I love this guy! The ancient Roman church robbed the Gentile believers of their Jewish connection with Abraham. We as Christian's should learn of Jewish customs and even embrace them. The typology and the symbolisms are beautiful and all point to Jesus. (Yashua)

  • I agree. Most Christians just threw out the Jewish heritage. EVEN THE TORAH! LOL. We who believe in Jesus should be happy to have these things because we understand the true fulfillment and not just the shadow.

  • I cannot recommend this man's videos enough. As a Christian, we need to get back to our Jewish roots. I just got mine and it's awesome! I'm going to teach on it to our Sunday School class at church.

  • I got mine too! I got the large one like the one in this video. I love it. When I am in personal prayer and study I wear it.

  • I do remember referring to the translation that persons can identify with it as i am Christian and keep in mind that the tallit is used as a prayer closet used by a believer of God. Shalom Uvracha

  • This was awesome teaching, I just got my Tallit from Israel. Do you have more revelations on the Tallit? do you have a website? can we talk more on this topic I would like to know more!

    Shalom & blessings

    Chris

  • You can call me at 786-314-2571

    Shalom Uvracha, Zach'Riah
