  • This is taekwondo as I love it. I don't give a shit for those fighters acting like machine guns when they only lift up their legs to do push kick on electronic protectors. It IS possible to score points on electronic protectors when fighting like they do in this video. Otherwise go for the head. 3 or 4 points now.

  • Itsenzothebaker is fucking awesome.

    Thanks for making these man.

These are the best TKD videos on YouTube.

They're "Actual", "Good" Taekwondo; vs the typical crap people post.

    Cool man :)

  • what does itf mean

  • damn why all the hate? it's an olympic sport... a game. i doubt that these guys go around acting like they can clean house in a bar or something, they're athletes like a soccer or basketball player.and as much as i watch ufc and respect/admire its participants, that's still a sport too, with rules and rule enforcers.the real classical martial arts have maiming, ripping and breaking techniques with a whole deadlier mindset to them, which would hardly ever get applied now.let athletes be athletes.

  • Nice vid man i too have posted a vid come and check it out leave a comment on the vid and pass it on to other people every one is wellcome thanks

  • nice vid

  • i love it

  • esos combates me agradan los de antaño. ahora tardan 1 minuto antes de dar una patada o una finta

  • Very nice, indeed!!! I may be wrong cause it is difficult to see their faces but I think these guys are teenagers, very young adults even. But I wouldn't wanna mix it up with them, certainly not at my age!! I also like the kai of the guy in the blue headgear. Very exciting vid!!! 10 stars. .

  • 11yr olds shouldnt have black belts

  • @rexnor598 make sure you back up the belt with skills..because black belt is nothing without the right skill thats what mess up about tkd..

  • @rexnor598 make sure u back up it with skills or else its just a belt with no meaning... its like graduating with very low marks

  • @rexnor598 i bet you go to a mc dojo

  • THANK YOU !!

    Awesome ♥ <3

    thanks for uploading

    ^_____^

  • why arent they using their hands idiots thts why he keeps gettinkicked in the face put ur hands up boy

  • dude, there is no point putting the hands up on tae kwon do sparring coz kicks to the head are mostly powerful in are hard to be blocked by hands. and only a point is awarded when the punch to the vest is solid/tough/clear score. punching to the head is not allowed obviously. the aim is to kick the vest and head hard. less focus on punching.

  • You Got A Point,

    But Punching Still Helps.

  • its easier to manuver with hands down speed is also faster well should be faster at that level...yeah hands up is good to do but u need more dodging then the actual block kicks are way more powerful than hands

  • i spar all the time having ur hands up doesnt take away any evasion speed, if anything having ur hands up when u dodge makes punchin the other guy with his hands down in the face easier, and kicks are hard so are punches dnt put hands up to block bu to protect the head

  • hahas al perfect

  • LOL all of these stupid stupiid comments.

They who have real taekwondo experience here isn't discussing like what is the best martial art and all of that stupid themes.

I can say this tkd fight is very good. This is the world class

  • wow, these guys are really fast. o_0

    awesome video!

  • Lo llamo al anshelou y te tira con verduras y a la mierda guacho

  • TIGER SHOUT..!!!!

  • 10:56 Yeahhhhhhhh AWESOME!

  • I took Tae Kwon Do for 5 years from a Korean master who is one of the finest men I have ever met. Its a great sport but gets you in tip top shape.

  • this is a great sparring match!

  • Why can't anyone on youtube just watch the video and comment on the video such as 'nice vid' or 'great effects' or something nice like that?

Every fucking video always an arguement about some stupid thing.

  • sooistheshiet: Thank you, I agree. The reason is because people don't know what they're talking about but think they do. For instance, people can't tell the difference between sport TKD and TKD for self-defense - two different things.

  • @sooistheshiet One of the smartest comments I seen in a while, and your right, people ALWAYS have to whine and bitch about anything, and everything on every video on Youtube, wheather it is about sports, martial arts, religion, music videos, or anything else. The problem most of the people that argue have, is that they are too damn narrow minded to see there view of the world isn't the only one, and there are billions of other views that are equal to there own, and should be respected.

  • @sooistheshiet I agree! Thats one of the flaws of many. Picture what they argue about in real life!!!

  • TAEKWONDO ITF : korean martial art

TAEKWONDO WTF : korean fight sport

  • May want to get your facts straight. WTF is the Full contact sport where as ITF isn't. Both may or may not have the traditional art behind it, depends on who teaches. This here is ITF, the match is stopped and recontinued after each strike. WTF continues for a length of time, varying from 1 minute to several.

  • Comment removed

  • It's not ITF, it's WTF. ITF doesn't use chest guards or helmets.

  • Yes you are right about Kukkiwon, but about the ITF not using Chest/Helmet guards...One of the Instructors in the area had gone to world competitions, and there are even photos of him while he was still it ITF. He then switched over to WTF because one of his Master's was leading him down a dead end. Yes you are right this happens to be WTF...not sure exactly what I was thinking when I saw the continued rounds. Sorry for the confusion.

  • Ah no prob, just trying to help out

  • This is WTF. The match is not stopped after each strike, it is stopped after one player falls. Also, since this is exciting, and it's full contact, it's clearly wtf.

  • Oh, i forgot to mention that it's also in Kukkiwon, which makes it wtf as well.

  • dude ur way off..

ITF is like the style of push kicks and head kicks. Using only a helmet and foot guards. this is WTF.

  • Yes my mistake, apparently the instructor in my area wasn't actually in ITF competitions...it was just provincicals of WTF. Thanks for the clarification.

  • TKD story begins from taekyon wich is martial art and its dangerous

  • w0w superb..when did this happen this year or previous years?

  • ChampionPride2009 , if u saying like that that mean u learn boxing only try to hurt innocent people or showing off.

  • Maldita geração bandal tchiagui

    (Fucking bandal tchiagui generation)

  • There's literally no guarding here, I assume because punches to the head aren't allowed. Point sparring is stupid, especially when the rules are stupid. They stopped and celebrated after like, every technique they landed. This is just gross. I guess it's fine as sport, but if you try and fight like this under any other circumstances you deserve what you get.

  • kilroy- this is more like full contact sparring. they are just showing elite guys scoring. you have to actually watch a match. real fight you would fight different, anyone would know that. sports have rules, even ufc, what can you do. a lot of people celebrate after making a point, touchdown, ko, arm bar, bjj sweep, throw, so whats gross about it?

  • Full contact sparring generally isn't played for points. This is hard contact point sparring. Rules are fine, but they have to be there for a reason. What's the point of banning punches to the head? It's not even a matter of keeping the art "pure", as there are variants of TKD that allow them (Hint: I train one). Celebrating after every landed technique breaks continuity, and kills any sense of an ongoing fight, replacing it with what amounts to distinct little 20 second blocks of time.

  • kilroy- kick box allows punches, but they wear gloves and you can hit multiple times, but in itf tkd, you hit to the head, the ref stops it after a tap. it's cheezy. people jump up and tap you in the head or doing a lead back fist, thats cheezy and not reality. it's harder to kick somone in the head, easier to punch in the face. If you want to see on-going fight, then ufc is the way to go, but even then, it's sport. it takes away hair pulling, groin strikes, bit, and whatever else, reality?

  • Just as an example, let's consider another point based sparring system; that of Judo. There are "big points" that end the match (resulting from things like a perfect throw, or a perfect hold while on the ground) and there are "small points" that just sort of accumulate and determine the winner if no big points are scored. Now, this still breaks up continuity, but there's principle behind it. A perfect throw will knock the wind out of somebody, and a perfect hold stops them indefinitely.

  • If you stop to celebrate after landing a throw on somebody, and the judge doesn't stop the match / give you the full point, then you're in trouble. Conversely here, what is the emphasis on? It's on one powerful strike, generally thrown to the stomach. What's the sense in that? That's not fight ending. The best way to tell if a strike is fight ending, of course, is to wait until one actually ends a fight. Outside of that though, why no partial points for light strikes? Why no head punches?

  • It's a little bit different because it's a grappling art and not a striking art, but the issue still remains, there are principled reasons for the rules being one way in a certain system, but there don't seem to be in another. The rules of this system move the art farther from reality and more towards a game of extremely limited scope, one which doesn't even pretend to simulate reality. I mean, a game's a game I suppose, but why play this one?

  • kilroy, the empasis on olympic tkd has nothing to do with fight ending attacks. the whole point of olympic tae kwon do is to demonstrate your agility, quickness, and accuracy while still having enough power in your attack to show emphasis on skill rather then a luck hit. olympic tkd is more sport related then fight related which is why they call it a "match" rather then a "fight" the main goal of the fighter is to win by points rather then a KO

  • magic- right, tkd is crazy athletic. it's hard to kick multiple times, to body and head. i agree, tkd 'match' shows emphasis on skill of contact then luck hit, perfectly said. as for match i agree, but it can turn into a 'match fight' lol, if you know what i mean, thats where the KO's come in ha ha!

  • kilroy- i don't think it's a game, maybe within the sport. it's a kicking art, they do punch, but it's a kicking art. they are not suppose to celebrate, but it's not different when a kickboxer or boxer lands a good hit and taunts the other guy. i like judo, but please, i could be in side mount, lift you and since you land on your back, i win, not koo. tkd it not simulating reality, it's that sport, same as kick box, box, bjj. ufc is is close to reality, but even that lacks substance

  • TKD fighters dont video themselves in a street fight because we find other ways to get out of situations then resort to just hitting. We learn to humble ourselves.

  • shu p up you bitch

take tie kwon do its awesome you might actually learn respect

sk53rw1n and why our you watching it if your not intrusted so get the hell out of here we dont want your comments

  • in tae kwon do its hard to land a kick... but when you do, it either really hurts or kills.

  • Those sad TKD vs (something) films are totally fucked up, because the TKD fighter cant really do very much, they should turn it around, let them fight with TKD rules in a TKD arena... then they would get their ass kicked so badly..

  • It's sad seeing so many carry such a distorted view of Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a martial art, with great variation, focusing just as much on punches and blocks as it does kicking, but the "sport" of taekwondo is not the same thing. It's been designed a certain way to make it possible to count points and the way you perform the sport is not the same as the way you would perform TKD "the art" in a "real" fight.

  • holy shit taekwondo rulz! and they make some poor videos "taekwondo vs kickboxing" and "taekwondo vs karate" where they put in the ring some 4 th class taekwondo fighter... let them try to fight with these fighters if they got courage ×DDD

  • Hey I know the perfect job for these guys Crash Test Dummies ! At least put your hands up and make people think you know what your doing.

  • They put up this video to advertise Tkd? What a sham - great balance guys! your kicking ability felled you 24 times or 24 kills !

  • lol..gosh... don't you know TKD is a sport and not a fighting technique? It's useless in fighting against kickboxer(thai-boxing) and other sorts of forms..

  • yajstyles you need to shut the fuck up too cus if you land tkd kicks it knocks you out cold watch KO vids dumbass and tell me that cant be used in real fights

  • hahaha... a stupid little kid... get it through your fking head... you need clearance and 'time' to land kicks... I'll say it again.. It's fking useless in a real fight.

These KO's are because they are both using tae kwon do... DUH u fking retard...

    it's a sport...

I wonder why there are no videos of Tae Kwon Do fighters fighting in a real fight in youtube huh? Dumbass...

  • yajstylez- kicking is not useless in a real fight. watch ufc, they kick. if you are a good kicker, you can kick someones head off. you also need clearance and 'time' to land a good punch. both punching and kicking can be effective if you know how to use each....

  • yah... but TKD in general is useless as a "fighting" style...

  • yajstylez- what do you mean useless as a 'fighting' style? it can be affective in a lot of fight situations...what do you mean?

  • TKD in 'general'....

you can take 'some' moves out from TKD that are/maybe useful.... but a pure solely TKD user fighting its technique only against almost any other will be useless... unless that's if they totally cannot fight.

  • yajstylez- that would apply for all martial art styles. i can a lot of techniques working against somebody in a fight. people judge tkd by the sport, but it does have fight tech too. i could judge other styles during the competition, but it wouldn't be fair. but if you take the sport 'competition' mentality, it can still apply to a real fight. i don't see what you are looking at....

  • it takes good timing, good space from you and your opponent, and direct spots to be effective...

solely using TKD techniques... it is totally useless fighting someone who doesn't know how to fight that rushes in swinging wildly at you in limited space...

Never have you seen a fighter in particular using straight out TKD....

only given as 'mixed martial arts'... as it points back to where I commented...

  • That is as stupid as saying that kicks will not ever help you in a fight.

In MMA or street, kicks are great tools

  • Kicks is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from saying TKD....

  • TKD is nothing compared to Boxing! hahaha so shut the fuck up b4 someone will KO you with a punch! hahahaha

  • all boxers seem to do is beat their wife and lose alot of brain cells

  • tkd is like boxing with the fee. you when by points or knockout. you score only when you make a lound shot when hitting the body. boxing has gloves and we have chest gear. i wouldn't say tkd is nothing compared to boxing because anyone can punch, but it's harder to learn how to kick. how about getting KO with a kick, ha ha ha ha

  • i agree gettin kicked real hard in the jaw and going to a hospital with a concussion is not fun as far as i know

i say that cause i dont much remember the day it happened

  • shut up, tae kwon do kicks your fucked ass.

I'm going to kick your ass with all my force and you'll die xD

  • shut up man! Taek wonshit is only seen at olympics and not as like BOXING WHOA ITS THE BEST BABY! hahaha its very intense and real man can punch not like you karate kids! hahaha

  • hey fuck you champion pride cus all you fucking shite bitches can do is punch and no skills and you hopefully think youll get a ko with one punch in a real fight but we got skills and mix it up so if we actually fight they wont know whats coming at them cus most ppl just throw random punches and thats what they fucking expect unlike martial arts or mixed martial arts fucker so stfu

  • I see they get marks for a clear punch XD

  • as always a great taekwondo video from itsenzothebaker. Gotta love the speed combined with technique and speed in taekwondo! It's a sport ill never get tired of seeing and doing.

    Thx alot man

  • Taekwondo Ruleees!!!

  • Why they kick so less highkicks

  • because u leave yourself open and off balance.

only use highkicks when u are very sure everything will land properly.

  • This is very entertainment video. But only taekwondo sparring is on 07:17.That the blue fighter do a spining back kick to the red fighter. But the red fighter want to him on,so he just do a hammer kick

  • Thanks.

  • seriously have some respect. all im gonna say, im disgusted in you.

  • I studied WTF and in a TKD spar u can punch on to the armor if u need to move him away.I learned this from my mate

  • I like WTF more than ITF

  • korean vs korean sparring is very fun to watch :P

  • lol where do you live?

  • really good video

  • i like punching or kicking im red belt in taekwondo up to taegeuk 7

  • PUKHHEWAK TOL KORANG NIH!! Malaysian tkd is much better..

  • omg koreans are intence taekwondo

    artist

  • Hell yea, its a sport from there country , same goes for me , i'm the only korean in my club , i'm the only one putting all my energie in it , the rest is just lazy ass !

  • though those kicks were fast, they seemed to most seemed to lack sufficient power. now bad vid though

  • theyre not going for a knock out... theyre going for points. those kicks are more fast with more snap, if they wanted to knock people out, they would gamble and throw in a jumping back spin kick.

  • Taekwondo was originally used fists do, I do not think the Olympic regulations.

  • So much different.. Korean taekwondo and the other world.. KOreans' kicks are so much fasterr

  • WTF = What the f*ck?

  • WTF = World TaeKwonDo Federation you dipshit

  • everybody freakin knows that, it was just a joke you retard.

  • and what if he didnt know?

so what? u dont have to call him a dipshit just for not knowin. thats disrespectful

  • kkkkkk

    lamo

  • idk...im a light weight and i kick just as fast as some of them. I just don't throw as many combinations.

  • only fin to featherweights are this fast...atleast from my observation... I noticed fin to feather...they use more combinations and in welter and above its more slowed down and direct attacks.

  • Tkd is one of my best sports.

    This video freaking inspired me.

  • holy fuck those guys kicks are fast as hell

  • gotta love tkd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My passion.

  • taekwondo yeah!!!!

    Number One iN the woRd

  • combo at 2.27...sick fast

  • like you Know how to do tae kwon do jims4plur

  • why wouldnt he

  • the only thing i don't like about most tkd practicioners is that they congratulate themselves and cheer after each strike they land

personally, i think they should be sportsmanlike and congratulate themselves after the match is over....i mean cmon theyre yelling and getting all happy like they won while the match is still going on

  • im korean but i agree about congratulate themselves at the figth, they most be mo modest in the match.

  • think of tkd sparring as fencing. when u hit, "tousche!"

  • the yelling after each strike isnt a congratulatory remark its simply a practice. Keeyop (spirited yell) or however its spelled in korean, is tought that when you strike you create this spirited yell to better your breathing. if you held in your breath and got punch in the chest you could risk KO. breathing is huge in all sports, however, they do get out of hand at times as a way to show off...

  • The Kiai today is misused. The cats meow Bruce Lee used shows he had no understanding of the kiai or kiyop. It is not used over and over which destroys the purpose but at strategic points in the altercation, such as to stun to create opening, extra stregnth, etc. It should be used slightly before your strike or kick or fake not after.

  • Now a days, because TKD is migrating more into sports, getting every point is crutial so by congratulating themselves in a way lets the point judges know it was a hit. However, sometimes, people cheer for random kick that didn't even connect. If there's 3 judges, 2 out of 3 judges must approve the point and in a ring, a kick could be hard to spot with a naked eye especially during that speed.

  • if a person really wanna self defense, its not abt the art, its abt surviving the assault. it doesnt matter wat martial used, as long as its effective. and i personally believe that the art is less important than the fighter. any martial art is not perfect on its own, and a lot of martial art shares a lot of similarities. combined, they will be better. looking forward for the day when true fighters come together to learn from each other and produce a unified martial art! (long shot maybe...)

  • taekwondo is only made of kicks....

  • no taekwondo focuses on kicks

however, punches are legalas long as they are above the waist

  • its wtf SPORT taekwondo. its not the self defense. dont see it from the point of view of a self defense martial art. this is a sport with rules-which actually makes it harder to master and win actually, coz some things are restricted. as a result, the sporting art evolves so that it can do more with juz the kick. think abt it. a normal traditional itf taekwondoist (generally speaking) cannot execute some execution from wtf sport taekwondo. peace.

  • You would usually use punches in tkd for defense purpose if you couldn't throw a counter kick. Throwing punch as a offensive technique can be dangerous since legs reach farther than punches. Many judges are picky about awarding points with punches so majority of points are awarded with kicks. Besides, you wouldn't want to see a boxing match in a tkd match.

  • its actually way risky kicking than it is punching. though I'm not Tae Kwon Do (I'm full contact karate), I do prefer kicking over punching. thing is I know its a hell of a lot riskier since its so much easier to knock me off balance when I'm kicking above waist level. also kicks a lot slower than punches(if you kicks are as fast as your punches you really need to work on your hands), easier to see comming and avoid. also punching doesn't make it a boxing match if I'm also kicking

  • fast as hell

  • People need to understand that WTF is not about knocking each other out or hurting each other, its about SCORING POINTS. Therefore it is treated more like a sport than a martial art, not saying it isn't a martial art and not saying you can't get hurt from it either. You will not fight like this in a real fight, but it will definately help. Same with all other martial arts. Lets just enjoy what we do and stop criticising. Great video by the way!

  • the "taekwonline" intro was a little too long, but overall the sparring clips were pretty awesome.

  • what the hell do u guies eat to do that stuff??

  • no fair.. they are too fast.. lol

  • its just like the moves of jeffspy99 ^^

  • They're definitely good at what they do I'll give em props for speed... but I sure wouldn't try a jump back kick against a street fighter

  • i think there legs are faster... i mean... they train for speed, and some of those make their money with taekwodo.

  • The BEST VIDEO EVER!

  • WTF at 5:35 ??

  • Have you guys noticed? When Koreans are sparing against each other, their sparing is much more dynamic and fun to watch.

  • Absolutely LOVED IT!!! Thanks for posting.

  • tkd-pwns

  • kungu doesnt teach.....how to catch anything..

  • There are a lot of opinionated buffoons out there and because of the disparaging remarks, TKD was last on my list to try after hearing about mma this and bjj that. After joining a few classes of these and being left at the back struggling or just made to fight with no attempt to teach me how I reluctantly tried TKD and I loved it! Im stronger faster and fitter! My instructor really takes pride in his teaching. It isn't the style its the person, the class and the instructor thats important.

  • That may b the case but being stronger faster and fitter I think I cld fight better than b4 I started which is the point really. When I tried other local full contact classes I found that the instructor wasnt interested in novices or teaching anything. I just turned up & had a scrap! I cld get that down my local pub if I wanted! My TKD instructor actually spends time teching technique. As a complete novice I learnt more in my 1st TKD class than in the entire 4 wks of training in the other ones.

  • tae kwon do gets a bad rep because other martial artists dont apreciate how powerfull your legs can be in comparison to your hands, those who do try it are normally impressed
