  • Sara, you are such a breath of fresh air.

Aside from being an abundantly talented performer...it is becoming quite obvious, that you are a lovely, compassionate, intelligent human being.

  • Awesome!

  • I love The Who also, when I saw them (at Madison Square Garden in the late '70's) Devo opened up for them and it was the first time I ever saw a music video. It was incredible. You are so right for wanting to turn a whole new generation of people on to them. Their music is transformational, so mind blowing and worth listening to.

  • Sara, your voice is beautiful even when you speak. For me your voice is the real SOUND OF MUSIC. Good to see you are happy with life. God has given you your life and together with it He has given us your voice to prove He exists. Congratulation to your parents who must´ve encouraged you during all those years. We will hear a lot about you. Bye and rock and roll.

  • You Inspire!

    Keep Going Never Give Up!

  • Hey Sara, thanks for the friend request. Not sure where ya found me but I'm glad ya did and I sub'd. I came right to this video first. Wow! The Who! Wish I could bring you back in time to the two concerts I saw them at in 1968 and 1973. Keith Moon's presense just added to the magic. "Tommy" really put them on top and they've been there ever since! I'm also a huge Beatles fan, met John Lennon in May 1975 at a charity thing he was hosting. Wish u could've been there!! Nice 2 meet u! - joe v

  • you are awesome.And lucky.

  • What you have is known as; Euphoria or "A Contact Buzz" It will wear off...NEVER LOL!!! Welcome to Rock n Roll Sara! :-) Have you seen the movie Almost Famous (With Kate Hudson) yet?

  • the who is cool

  • First there was Horton....

    Now Sara Hears A Who!

  • Okay Sarah. I have neber seen The Who (I am so jealous!) but my two favorite concerts were Aerosmith and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They are two bands you must see live if you can. Especially Aerosmith. If you think they sound good on their albums you have got to see them live. They just blew my mind. I am also into all types of music. As a matter of fact I will be seeing Britney Spears next week. I know she is not a "musician but she is a great peroformer.

  • Sara I am an even bigger fan than I was before. The Who is one of my favorite groups. I love them so much. Keith Moon was one of the best drummers ever. I also love the Beatles. As far as I am concerned anyone who does not love the Beatles is not human. What do you think of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers? I think they are the best group around today and John Frusciante is the best guitarist of his generation.

  • Oh wow! You're a Who fan! Oh wow, that is soooooo great!!!!

Oh wow, I love the comment about Jonas Brothers fans...

I used to do guitar windmills on stage...might try it again sometime on my Les Paul...that'd be really chill too!

    Headbanging! Yessss!

  • umm i like this day very much, it's my birthday lol, anyway cool vid! LD

  • ugh, what you said about the jona brothers is so true.

  • Hi,

    The Who is cool.

I actually had a backstage pass when they played in The Netherlands. I was on the guest list of The Cult, who opened for them.

I was watching The Who, standing between Ian Astbury and John Tempesta.

After the show I met Roger Daltrey (which is really short lol) and got my ticket signed.

  • ur rly hot

  • Congratulation!

    Kisses

    Susana

  • i've listened to ur singing

ur amazingly talented and every thing

    BUT

i don't agree with you and ican't about what you said ((if i could turn for every 100 jonas brothers fan's if i could make one of them a who fan the world wold be a better place))

there's no hard feelings but that's just my opinion :D

  • My Dad loves the Who now I have to check them out too !!! Have a great 2009 Sara !!1

    Miranda x

  • I'm so excited now, I want to go see them too

  • Hey Sara, yep they are amazing. I've been a fan for years!!!

    Darren

  • Hahahah!

    Good one!

    What a wonder they are!

Glad to meet people who feel the same way.

    Those are awesome songs!

Among my favs are "5:15" and "Baba O'Riley"

  • Who? Just kidding, they were an awesome band. My favorites of them are "Join Together" and "Won't Get Fooled Again"

  • Always thinking or you Sara... your great!

yout America The Beautiful will always be the theme song of my channnel.

    UROCK

    ~eric~

    :-p

  • Saw them several times. Some of the loudest shows I have ever attended. Only Metallica was louder. I love the Who.

  • I love loud!

    lol

    What a show, huh?

    Hope your New Year rocks!

  • Saw the Who at the Filmore East the week after one of them kicked a Fire Marshall, trying to clear the house due to a second alarm fire roaring next door, into the audience. 1969?

They let him go because he thought he was being attacked.

Saw them again at Shea Stadium. Was outside when a cop, tired of dodging all the ones trying to sneak in said "All aboard" and in we went.

I have pics from the infield. Was a pretty amazing show, maybe 1981 or 2.

Check for Who at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium

  • Woah - really?

Those are some of the best Who stories I've heard!

How amazing that must have been!

It's so cool that so many people have their own special memories of them.

    Happy New Year!

  • Happy New Year right back.

I was worried because you didn't speak to me after I asked you to tango in Central Park.

I was wondering if you thought badly of me, but I guess you're busy. Good!

  • Thanks so much for your comment!

I am going to have a new video on here soon!

    A week, tops!

I'm so glad you like my Vlog!

Ahhh the guitar... what an incredible instrument!

  • If you like The Who 2 movies to watch Quadrifinia and Mcvicker.

  • I remember going to the movies to escape the heat and saw a Who movie, so bad I forget it's name.

Snored thru the whole thing until Tina Turner popped out of that Iron Maiden and electrified the screen, me sitting bolt upright.

After that I struggled to stay awake but couldn't.

Much as they are a great band, they made a lousy movie.

    Snore....

  • cant ever remember the who making a movie sorry. yawn.

  • I remember Tina Turner but not the Who in that movie. You are right.

I just looked it up. It was Tommy. Terrible movie

They are a great band but they are rock stars, not actors, 2 diff professions.

This is what was on the air when I was Sara's age, along with the Beatles, Stones Hendrix and Janis.

Tim Buckley, Leonard Cohen, Janis Ian and Clapton. Joe Cocker, Leon Russel and others. I had good taste in music then and was lucky to grow up in the 60's

    What happened to me?

  • i will never forget Roger Daltrey on howard stern singing Behind Blue Eyes with a sore throat and no music in the back! I will always remember his voice as powerful and raw

  • That sounds incredible!

Oh my gosh - I LOVE that song.

He was insanely amazing when I saw him!

Thanks so much for checking out my video.

  • Thanks so much!

I'm so happy to hear that you like my songs!

    No... YOU rock!

    Happy 2009!!

  • ice ice baby rofl

  • Gee Girl, I WISH I would have been there. You are absolutely right. I totally agree. huggies from your friend Viv (PS. When are you going to Upload a new song - can´t wait so remember to let me know and share your videos)

  • I'm so glad that you agree with my vid and thank you so much for watching it!

I hope to have another video on here in a week tops!

It's been a bit busy, but I can't wait to make another!

  • Hell yeah i love The Who, they're coming to NZ next year, its a toss up between them and Iron Maiden for me at the moment (unfortunately both concerts mean travel). Nice to see ya on here :-)

  • Did you decide which one you want to see yet?

I hope this is the best year yet for you!

Thanks again for coming by my vids!

  • well i was leaning towards Iron Maiden but things are a bit busy for travelling so it might well be The Who i go to see, not that id be complaining either way :-)

No problems, now when are you going to record a track by The Who ? :-)

  • Jesteś niesamowita!

    Twój głos jest niepowtarzalny!

  • Anytime XD

  • No wonder you are so good....listening to good music makes you a good performer...

  • The who certainly are special Sara.

I`ve know since the sixties how special they are! I grew up listening to their awesome stuff! Its pretty cool for me to see a young person flipping out over their talent! It`s VERY cool to see!

    *****

  • Here here. Great to see that such great music is appreciated by all ages groups.

  • Good music NEVER dies.

As long as one person passes it on - I have a feeling the world is gonna be okay.

Glad to share my love of the Who and find other fans!

  • Hey Sara Vlog #1! Great. I worked two Who shows in Toronto '68-'69. When John and Keith were there. Agree, the music lives on. Happy to hear the e experience was great. Keep on rockin Sara. Some day folks will be lining up for you!

  • Oh man! That's awesome.

I hope your prediction comes true!

  • We used to do a lot of Who in my high school band back in the '80s. Quadraphrenia is probably my favorite Who album. I'm so glad that you're a Who fan! There's a Who concert from 1977 on Blu-Ray out now! I have it DVR'd from a PBS showing in HD. I haven't watched the whole thing yet but it looked really good. See you later and thanks for the comment!

  • Really!? Wow!

    Quadrophenia is amazingamazingamazing.

I can't get enough of it.

Thanks - I'll have to check out that Blue Ray

  • Hi Sara, Good to see you Vlogging. I was aroung when The Who started, but they were so different I didn't get into their music at the time. I was into Beatles and Stones. It took CSI to make me appreciate The Who!!

Thanks for your mail the other day, all the best to you,

    Bill xxx

    Just can't beat that music...

  • beatles... according to cnn (11.17.08)

is trying to release thier never been heard electronic rock of the 60's which was only done for thier experimental sound and seems much ahead of thier time for this kind of music. pm/rs are just trying to get the approval of yo and gh/widdow to get this recording available to the public!!!!!

  • Really?!

    Wow!

They sure were ahead of their time.

I sure hope it comes out soon!

  • who's who?? just kidding!! LOL i think the drummer (k, moon) was the person indirectly responsible for the emergence of led zeppelin! who's music is never too old and never to middle ages only. look at her she is gorgeous and seems very smart but liked the who! cheers for her and of course for her music taste WHO-HOOOOOOO!!!!

  • Who? lol

Moon was incredible. There never will be another.

    Glad you like my Vlog.

    LONG LIVE THE WHO!

  • Hi Sara, So glad to hear that you are a Who fan! I wish that more young folks would learn more about music from that era. IMHO , that's the bast music ever -- classic rock from the 60's , 70's , and 80's. BTW , I did a rendition of "My Generation" on my bass if you care to give it a listen. Hope all is well ; I'm still waiting for your version of "Touch Me In The Morning" .... I guess that I shouldn't hold my breath ... :^)

  • I do LOVE "Touch Me In The Morning" - especially your performance of it.

So cool to see you playing "My Generation" - I just watched =]

Entwistle is one of my fav bass players - so innovative!

I'm trying to spread the word! Thanks for checking this Vlog out!

  • Hi Sara, I am glad you like The Who and The Beatles. The intro you used just now was what I used in the mid 1970s when I was a newscaster. It sounded important; then I would come on and say "Jimmy Carter has been elected our next president, this and other stories ahead on KLSR. This is Jimmie Dohr reporting..." (my stage name). I want to hear from you some more. God bless you. Gentile Jim.

  • Really!

    Woahhh - that's awesome!

Yes The Who and the Beatles.

Couldn't have rock without them =]

Thanks for checking out what I have to say and taking the time to comment!

  • The Who ARE the best of the best.

You have some awesome music on your page!

The Real Me is definitely one of my favorite Who songs.

  • You're making me blush.

The more time passes the greater The Who become, endless, timeless brilliance.

  • You really remind me of my friend Heather, in the sense of music-wise. (did that make any sense? lol)

    I'm sure it was amazing!

  • Hello Sara,

How nice to hear, from someone who is much younger than I am, so enthousiastic words about a band that played "substitute" when I was 16 and later on "my generation". Songs and music that turned us wild in those days. I almost forgotten them, when you had not talked about them. Indeed amazing. Thanks a lot for sharing. But I think Santana is the best guitarplayer in the world. Santana is the guitar.

    LOL Ernst from Holland

  • Hey Ernst.

    I LOVE those songs.

The power - the emotion - just cannot fade with any time.

    Santana rocks too!
