Helloween refocused their direction after unfairly firing Kiske becuase Bubbles and Chameleon "failed" among close-minded people who cannot appreciate when a band tries somethign new. If you paid attention to Helloween's history, you would notice that both Weikath & Kiske wanted to go into a "lighter" sound. Also, Weikath was trying to sack Kiske in 1991 to get Andi in the band.

I like Andi. Is he better than Kiske, that's hard to say. I prefer Kiske, but Deris has a much wider variety than Kiske, so really Deris is better for Helloween, if you want variety. I liek variety, jsut wish Helloween would write better songs. Lately the music has left me unsatisifed, which sucks, because i love Helloween.

Helloween was best i 1984-1988 , when Kai Hansen was the guitarist and songwriter . AND Michael Kiske was the singer ( well , he was singer in Chameleon and Pink bubbles go ape , but it;s not the 'real' Helloween ) . after that period of time Hansen left , then Ingo died , before that Andi Deris was the singer , and thats for me the worst thing .

komputerlink : the wannabe fans can thumb you down all they like but i bought Judas the year it came out and the transition to kiske in keepers was not just hardly noticeable it was a slight improvemnent but both were great , but on hansens departure kiske lost direction and poor old ingo was just decimated and the fragments of the band left are hardly helloween. The true spirit of helloween lives on as best it can in gamma ray (its not perfect but its helloween post kiske)

ps despues de helloween ha hecho muchas colavoraciones hermano, ademas del conocido avantasia ha grabado con otros grupos donde todavia canta muy bien, andi con pc69 era de lo mejor y de hai con helloween solo es rescatable unos discos y el dvd high live, despues de eso andi perdio su hermoza voz, si, me encantaba como cantaba antes, ahora solo lloro al oirlo y pensar que esa voz era una de las cuales me hacia "volar", lastima de voz.ademas carnal no hai k serrarse solo al power
