  • Embrace

    Minor Threat

    Fugazi

    Rites of Spring

    One Last Wish

    Gray Matter

    That is all.

  • Ian is so animated, I love it!

  • Id like to see these guys get back together, and have the Britpop/Sad Dad ballad band (that happens to also be called Embrace) open for them

  • What a good band.

  • Ian Thomas Garner MacKaye, a culpa é sua, bixo! A culpa é sua! =)

  • great song. bad vid.

  • I really like Current's version of this they did for the Embrace tribute

  • holy shit this legendary man, he sounds totally the same live to!

  • I don't like the PA...

  • are you talking about the echo/reverb effect? i like it, i actually want to know how it was done, like how sometimes there's tons of reverb, i want that. haha

  • yes! sadly i lost my Embrace CD a few years ago. so fucking good.

  • @snackman138 Buy it again on the reissued vinyl :D

  • wow i fuckin love minor threat and ian mckaye and i didnt know about this band lol ima dumb ass

  • Absolutely!

  • best embrace song

  • My favorite as well.

  • I could never be a singer in a band and not play an instrument - you just look kind of stupid. Unless you're iggy pop.

  • This was a great band. Its still when Ian had still had some spark and anger before he became a stage dive hating douche monger in fugazi.

    The Evens are horrible hahahaa

  • ian thinks he is so smart. i'm pretty smart too.

  • dont forget his work with ministry you fucking know it all bitch

  • "we all struggle for our dreams to be realized/they end up objects of our own despize"

  • <3...

  • The Teen Idles were the basis of Hardcore in general, Minor Threat got Hardcore popular to the masses, Embrac served as the transition period from Ian mackaye going from hardcore to softer, more melodic hardcore, while Fugazi was more layed-back hardcore punk.

  • What was the point of you posting this? Most of it is completely false. Did you just post this to try to convince tEh iNt3RnEtz that you're "knowledgeable" about something? The Teen Idles were not "the basis of hardcore," Fugazi is not "layed-back hardcore punk."

  • love it *-*

  • wow how good is that live

  • i give you all muther fucking respect for posting this vid... fuck ya!!!! i've been looking for this for a long time...my tape (LOL) was stolen!

    embrace!!!!

  • some one stole your Embrace Tape?! man id like get the FBI lol

  • holy sh1t whoever put this up is a genius. Thank you so much. Most underrated band!

  • these videos fucking destroy. awesome quality. most underrated hardcore record of all time.

  • Ian= God

  • FÓDA DEMAIS

  • ian genuenly changed my life ,minor threat, embrace ,fugazi changed me

  • @tob1203 I feel the same way. This record lived in my tape deck. I took it all to heart.

  • O man, I played this record so much I destroyed the vinyl. When I finally got a decent tape recorder, I dubbed "Do Not Consider Yourself Free" and brought it in to my high School English/Lit. class where the project was to play a song that addresses a social issue, provide lyrics, and then have the class talk about it. Everybody else brought in stuff like U2, Rush, Sting, etc. and I play Embrace and get no comments lol.

  • out of Minor Threat, Embrace and Fugazi I still say Embrace was the best of the 3...

  • all damn good though.

  • there good but for me it's a close as hell tie between fugazi and minor but teen idels were kick ass as well

  • this music changed my life.. got it on my back.. dance of days.. cuz they really dance, I am dancing with them!

  • We all struggle for our dreams to be realized, they end up objects of our own despise.

  • We all struggle for our dreams to be realized, they end up objects of our own despise.

  • Amazing band. I'd love to got an AVI version of this gig.

  • how did u get this!?!

  • thanks so much for posting this...

  • one of my favourite songs of all time - i never even knew embrace played shows, let alone that video existed of them playing live.

finds like this make me want to have sex with youtube.

  • Just to see this much energy, honesty and raw music is surreal. You just don't have this in modern music.

  • You should see some minor threat videos, Ian's other band. That's fucking crazy.

  • Great DC vids. So much good stuff from that era..

  • You should upload the whole concert to Google for downloading.

  • como o Ian MacKaye era diferente

video FOOOOOODA! isso sim q é Dance Of Days (YY)

  • definitely a moment of incredible inspiration for ian when he wrote this song. Fucking A'!!!
