  • @usnavyseals99 The fucker weighs a BUNCH!!!! It goes pretty ok for a truck but its still at 5500+ at the low end and up to about 8500 with the crew cab and extra goodies. Thats considerably more than a 3000 or 3500 car runnin the same time down a track.

  • for the people that don't know what all is done, here is a start.

    Big fuel, 225+ injectors, bigger turbo, studs, egr delete, possibly a bigger intercooler depending if he has compounds, transmission, maybe big oil. not to mention spray.

  • He didnt lift the front tires, just unloaded the front suspension. I dont really like 6.0's, but they do make power if you do them right. Also, that guy prolly has different leafsprings in the back, so he can launch harder

    There is no "Lag" on 6.0 and 7.3 either. It's strictly a function of fueling. The 6.4 has so much crap on it that it's not worthwhile to use it as a platform for starting a race engine.

    It has 40 lbs of boost stock for emissions, not for power.

  • dollar for dollar, diesel engines have way more potential than a gas. to prove it, look at programers, you can get maybe 50hp out of a gas, that same manufacture makes a diesel programer that can unlock 100hp (most programers more)

    the might be slow to spool the turbo up, but hold on...

  • the horsepower gains from diesel programers aren't near the most impressive thing, you get up to 100 horse extra, but you also get as much as 300 ft. lb. of torque, or more.

  • With the twin turbo set up on the new 6.4, there is almost no turbo lag. Not more than a few seconds with just a throttle mash. They will bury the stock gauge at 40 psi. I'm not going to mod my 08 F-350 Lariat, but I might get a stripped down 250 to mod. I've heard rumors that a heavy duty F-150 will get this drive train. This engine is a great platform to start with.

    It's a 564 RWHP 6.0 with nitrous.

    The only mods to the engine are injectors, nitrous and a chip.

  • yeah at midnight mayhem but its not a powerstroke it has the destroked kit AKA cummings in it. they have a website for that truck its sick google it you'll find it! very fast

  • This is the most stupid race I have ever seen. That had to be a stock lightning and the diesel had to be heavily modified. The race was unfare. I could put thousands of dollars in my lightning and easily beet that diesel. This race is like racing a SRT-10 against a ranger....it's just not comparable!
