Dave is a god,I've seen him 2 times and I saw Rockpile back when I was 15.it's funny that a Chap from Wales rocks better then the US stars he emulates.I would love a new CD and if he did sumething with Nick that 2 would be great. And we all miss Micky Gee
I can see me, old, in the nursing home. Some volunteer comes in to cheer me and the other oldsters with some music. "Any requests?", the volunteer asks. I scream, "Play some Stones! Play some Edmunds!"
Thank you! for putting this video up. I saw DE in Atlanta at the Roxy Theater in 1990 or maybe 91 do this song and it remains one of my favorite concert experiences.
Just came across a Canadian release, only available as a download as far as I can see, called "Hand Picked: Musical Fantasies". Edmunds fans choking for something else from the man can check it out! Unusually for Edmunds, half of it is instrumental, including Sabre Dance. Classical Gas and some Mozart! I kid you not! On You Tube so far, I've found "I Still Love You" and "Babyface" but there may be more.
Dave Edmunds has two major qualities: he's a fantastic performer/musician, and he employs the services of the best available musicians to compliment him. Mickey Gee - Dave Charles - John David - Steve Cropper - Tower of power Horns - Brother Geoff - Dion DiMucci - Brian Setzer - the list is endless.
Nice interview in the end, so it was the house band. Dave should follow his old buddy Nick Lowe and start making brilliant records again! Like Dig My Mood!
why this guy never found a broader (and i mean MUCH broader) audience is an indictment on the musical tastes of the general public. when greats like dave edmunds and albert lee are gone, all we'll be left with is shit.

Who wouldn't love a new studio album from Dave? But checkout the live album "C'mon Everybody".

canadianroot ,
The lack of Dave Edmunds' broad appeal/success is a subject worthy of being a college course.

One of the most underrated songs I can think of, ever. The video to this song was very well done too.
