  • My word....what has happened to this type of TRUE Gospel? Lord, help us to remain focused on YOU! The almighty dollar has watered down a pure, potent, concentrated Gospel! Sorry, I had to say it! Thank you T. Whitfield! Thank you, whomever is kind enough to post these precious GEMS. Some of us CRAVE this. Its like being able to exhale and breathing in this fresh wind of Gospel Music, that the world is trying to drown out. My God, listen to that.....

  • Hey! Look! It's Tonex's older brother! He sings a little bit like Tonex too! Nice runs.

  • I just need ONE church mother to holla out "GLORY"... church wouldn't be standing... LOL

  • There has never been or will it ever be a Composer,Musician,Producer nor Minister of Music like Min.Thomas Whitfield. When you can 20plus years later, still sing the songs,do the vocal riffs, copy the style of chord progressions,etc.....You were TRULY before your time.....and He Was. He's a GIFT that is forever missed. Heaven is having AWESOME Church I'm sure :)

  • What a powerful prophetic minstrel the legendary Thomas Whitfield was. Awesome!

  • @evangeliggins He was an anointed Man of God in all areas of musicianship. Does anyone have anymore of these videos or know where we can get old albums from?

  • IT SOUNDS BETTER LIVE THAN ON THE CD!!!!

  • One of my heroes and one of the best pure tenor voices I ever heard was a member of the Whitfield Company and that was Peter Ortiz. He grew up in Gary and was a member of the Angelic Choir of Jerusalem Baptist Church and a wonderful person as well as singer. I miss him still to this day

  • I like the song but that hair do have to go. lol

  • i always thought that the lead singer was a woman

  • Hallelujah!! Don't stop sayin it!! Keep on sayin it!!

  • This has been one of my favorites! God bless the late Min Thomas W! Such an anointed professor of the gospel. Bishop Paul Morton's sister was to be his wife, but God knows best! Rest with Jesus, sir!

  • was this youth day 1987?

  • Is it me or does that guy look like Morris Day and the time? LOL! Love the song though. Thomas Was the best!!

  • Oh Yes!!! Glory Glory - Wonderful Choir and Bless you so Much for sharing this most excellent video!!!!

  • Oh my God! I miss The Company. I miss you Reggie!

  • This choir is one of the great performing choir ever. The music was tight, the singers were on and the lead, oh my God! Make you want to cut a step just because God is worthy of the praise. It's early morning and I'm getting my praise on as I make ready for my work day to start. No better way to do it. Thank you so much for Thomas Whitfield and Company.

  • LOL @ the Morris Day comment below. Them tenors clapping hard around 2:30 ain't it?! LOL. That's alright. Ain't no harm to praise Him. Praise don't have rules, it just flows. Thanks for the post. Still loving Whitfield's music. Still doing his music in church too!

  • Man, I miss these days, but looking back on them is SO funny. The male lead is doing A LOT, I love the lady though (her name escapes me right now)

  • please post HE SATISFIES!!!!

  • Minister Thomas Whitfield was a master musician/composer. He left us seemingly way too soon but his legacy still lives on.

  • He really was, but thank God for the time he was here to bless us all with his ministry. You're right his legacy still is living on, when I came on Youtube, I was so glad to see the videos and audio tributes to his ministry here.

  • And THANK YOU for YOUR contribution through video clips and otherwise...they will allow his memory to continue. Does anyone happen to know what has happened to Wendy Davis? (the female lead in this clip) I noticed that none of the songs that she sang were included in the James Cleveland Award presentation. The Whitfield Company is still together aren't they?

  • Great Song!!! We used to sing this til the whole neighborhood was rockin!! LOL!!! I made the mistake and let someone borrow my video - now I don't have it anymore.

  • When this song came on the radio, I would get so excited...lol . I know how it is to lend music and videos out and not get them back, thankfully with the internet I was able to find some of them and buy them again.
