  • i remember my dad back in the day was disgusted with the fare i enjoyed on MTV. so one day he tells me one day he happened to see such beautiful music on HBO the other evening. 'it was called blondie'. hahahhahahahahhaha!!!!!! really, dad - never heard of them. you liked it, you say? haha

  • Funny, The Blondie Concert I went to 3 weeks ago was 100X Better than This Concert 29 years ago! Blondie Right Now is as Great as They were 30 Years Ago!!! Just Show the Amazing Talent Of Debbie and the Boys!!! Blondie Fucking Rocks!!!!!!!

  • @msmdude68 yup have to agree, i saw them in Boston Sep 2011, was INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • 'The Hunter' is a brilliant album... Love this song.. I don't understand at all why people say Debbie is a bad dancer... or why they even care about dancing!! She's a musician, not a professional dancer! she's not even a little bit fat or chubby here, either... wtf!

  • like Cows ice cream - yum

  • critics slaughter blondie during the hunter era, sales didn´t help the band...

as a die hard fan of blondie, i have to say i really like the album, maybe the most quirky and experimental of their records, and this concert is an outstanding performace, debbie doesn´t look fat at all, she`s gorgeous here

  • @polniumanable A Die hard Myself, I do like the Hunter,Danceway, War Child, Orchid Club, Island of Lost Souls, English Boys, Dragonfly, all Great Songs (Danceway, War Child and Island of Lost Souls the best 3). Its just that Put Against the Rest of the Blondie Records, it is Easily the Weakest. Its not fair as The Band Just Imploded from Drugs, Sickness, Debt ect. If it was by another band, It would be that bands 1st or 2nd best Record but Not Blondie! Just My Opinion and it was experimental!

  • WOW! Where the hell did this clip come from? Its GREAT! I cant believe the massive volume of HIT quality music this band generated in such a short time period! 5-6 years and about 35 tracks in 6-7 different musical genres that could have been top 10 singles, if releasesd. Not even the Beatles or Rolling Stones put out that amount of quality work in 10 years! Deffinately the most underrated band EVER! DH called this time period "THE ICE CREAM YEARS" a very tough time for her and chris and band.

  • I don't think she is fat here, she just has a few extra pounds which don't affect her look at all, her body fits perfectly with her clothes on this concert (this and the purple one), and you can't say her face isn't perfect.

  • There was no emotion or any of that Blondie magic from any of the group in this performance.... they certainly weren't a band anymore.

  • I Want This Concert!!!

  • LOVE the expression on her face, when she loses her shoe! She's like "WTF?!?!"...LOL

  • My fave vid ever!! Deborah dances her shoe off! :) Much Love x

  • i always thought debbie had such a voluptuous, beautiful bum.

  • @jas22 Not if you saw her in 1977-78. She was just starting to put on the weight in '81-'82. Check out her Rapture vid by emiamericarecords here on youtube. Put Rapture in the search box and select the one by them. Also view her Call Me by emi music where she romps around on Coney Island beach. NOTE: emi music is different from emiamerica.

  • @KitCox gaining weight didn't make her less beautiful though.

  • @ShaylaScissorhands She's still beautiful, still love her.

  • I always thought this song was sadly overlooked.

Also, the album "The Hunter" was really good and did not deserve all the negative reviews. If it was released today it would be hailed as a masterpiece.

  • Love the song. My only problem with The Hunter is that Debbie's vocals sound muffled on most of the tracks. Maybe to give them a "jungle" vibe? And it's a shame the extra verse was cut from the final version, those lyrics are great.

  • My new favorite old Blondie song.

  • Yep, should have been a HUGE hit!

  • The ultimate Mature-But-Immature Deb Harri (Kari)!

  • Another great Jimmy Destri Song!

  • es del 82 este concierto?????? la veo avejentada aca a debbie, para mi es posterior

  • Absolutely love i and never get tired of it! Prefer the live version compared to the recorded on though?

  • ... "fingers in my hair do!"

  • Love the song should have been a huge hit. Love the way she loses her show and slips it back on without missing a beat!

  • I just love Debbie's French twist gone wrong! At least it was perfect at the start of the show!

  • notice she wore the same shoes as she did in the original Heart of Glass video...the glass-like heels...

  • Nope, not the same shoes. The shoes she wore in this concert were all black leather with lower heels.

  • what a butt on her.

  • i have the whole live video where this song is taken from. i've always loved it, too bad it's not included in any blondie's greatest hits compilation. i agree about this song sounding like phil collins solo stuff: the horn section, amongst other things...

  • do u mind tellin me where u got the video? thnks

  • it DOES pre-date phil collins' solo work! :)

  • Blondie Forever......................

  • It sounds like all the Phil Collins' stuff that will come in the years to follow that gig. But hey, where the hell is Frank Infante? already fired?

  • yeh i always liked that song sounds great live with the brass

  • luv that brass..shame that cd did really bad

  • Love it! Thanx for posting!

  • I still cant get enough of this! If they would only play this once more live :(

  • Haha! I always loved the face she makes when her shoe comes off!

  • Debbie, quelle coiffure, j'adore!!!

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow loved this so so so much. Deb's hair was a trip haha

  • The big difference between Debbie and other gorgeous women/artists is that she really could sing very well with a clear, sexy voice.

  • Right! Too bad Debbie H. can't dance, or even move. She's the opposite of nowadays singers who can dance but can't sing... Funny, I never saw their clips until now, although I'm their biggest fan since the 70s. Thanks to al posters

  • debbie can't dance?!? debbie set the trend for dance, back during the NEW WAVE!! the quirky, awkward movements are on purpose...that was the style....dah!

  • actually, thats what i liked about her. her "roboticness" was eerily attractive. lol.

  • I'm sure Debbie could memorise lame dance routines like today's stars do if she wanted to. I remember she once called them 'cheerleader-liker', which is true. Debbie's dancing is natural and in tune to the music.

  • <333333333333333333333333333

  • wow this sounds realllyy good live! Thanks for posting!

  • Hey Ho...this is live in Toronto 8/18/82 not Montreal.

Chrysalis/EMI should do BLONDIE some major credit and re-release this whole concert without edits.

  • Love this song Live!!!

  • I definitely wasn't expecting this. Thanks.
