@sweetcakegurl - I just buy sewing pins from my local craft store. You get a large amount for very cheap and most already come in a small container you can carry in your purse.

Asalamu alaiki sister, this comment is in regards to something other than what is on the subject of the orginizing video, but rather about why u wear rings on your right hand finer, the one where we do tashahud with, i believe it is haram to put any rings on the finger we use for tashahad and wanted ti know how many people out there are doing the same thing and have u bring it to their attention as well inshallah.

@abumom salam sis depending on where you live you can buy hangers that are specially for scarves. Sister Amenakin also has a video to show how she stores the scarves.

i put mines in a little girls jewellery box that had lots of compartments and had puffy areas to ''plant'' the pins BUT the problem is when i take the pins out of there i never put them back so at the end of the month i need to refill I think something should be invented for putting back the pins, they are just everywhere my house & got the hoover stuck =D

Could you do a video on how to store your scarves? I have literally hundreds, and I am using my husbands tie racks, but feel that there must be a better way.

for my straight hijab pins i use something i found around the house - a wrist-rest or something for when using the computer. my father bought it and no one used it cause our mouse mat already has a wrist-rest built into it. it's perfect! it's squidgy and just works so well and it's really small so i keep it on my dressing table :) not portable like yours though <3

My sister and I all keep our pins in this little glass basket that were gifts from my cousin's bridal shower. Before that we had this little chest of drawers that was perfect because we could keep pins in one drawer and like rings in another. Both of these work great but the problem is everything get's all mixed up and I have jabbed my fingers many times trying to pick out a pin. I love the idea of having them all stand up nice and safe way neater.

PS. the lip balm container idea is GENIUS! =D

Nice I should try this at some point. I used to just stick them in the side of the sofa, my school bag strap or the bottom of my hooddie. As of late I have moved into leaving them in random locations around my room. Looking for a pin has now become a treasure hunt. Yep, I need organization.
