@benntame I used Rosetta Stone and Pimsleur. I am still learning, but it is not as hard as many people think. The grammar rules are quite a bit different, but it isn't that difficult. My girlfriend is Japanese too, so that helps. There is also a website called shared talk by Rosetta Stone. Do a search and sign up. It's free and you can actually talk to people from Japan. That is the best way to learn, talking to a native speaker.
