I don't get it... Are you actually saying that stopping the war is "make zero effort to improve the world population"? If You want the US to help other countries then fine. Help them by supporting groups like Doctors Without Borders that actually help. The war cost more than you can afford. You don't have to have closed borders and I don't get how you could have gotten that message out of my comment. All I say is that there are better ways to fix the conflict.

@collingsm Our country has a clear record of political influence of several parties, even if there are two very big ones.

The US is leaning more to the right in general, but i know there are many Americans to the left that don't find their interests reflected in the Democratic Party and have little alternative. How out of place Kucinich and Paul are in their respective parties shows what i mean.

I do get your last point though, but given my stance on this, i don't find that approach desirable.
