My 16 yr old's 2003 Focus sounded like it was SLAMMING into gear so when her dad checked it out ( hoping it wasn't the tranny) he found a truly ate up motor mount. Replaced it and even some of the little vibrating noises are gone. Problem fixed for $35. Now he is looking at replacing the alternator and that looks like it might require a few choice curse words and a buddy.

Google Engine and Transmission World and read about all the people they have scammed. They send out a defective motor that will not run knowing you will return it but then they charge a 25% restocking fee then turn around and sell the piece of junk to the next poor fool. BEWARE !!! These guys are crooks.
