Everyone, this is not plasma!. All he is doing is lighting a rubber tube on fire with a spark from the microwave and oxygen from the cutting torch to keep the fire going for a few seconds. If you look into an ICPOES there will be an Glass tube called the torch which uses an argon plasma to analyze samples. At the apex of the flame temperatures reach up to 60,000 Kelvin. You can NOT make a plasma torch with some stuff from home depot and a microwave.
He better be careful, TPTB (the powers that be) and the energy industry like Edison, don't like competition. Look what happened to Stanley Meyers w the water dune buggy, he got poisoned and died the next day. this guy looks just as naive as Stanley Meyers.
ever read the Tesla papers? - be careful govt doesn't like it when you start showing people how do get energy cheap. they have invested alot of money in railroads, and power companies, and ways to charge you for things that could have been installed in your house, and gave you free energy. why do you think moonshine is illegal? it's all about the taxes, and greedy politicians who take lobbyist money folks.
That flame is not 9000 degrees. According to Stefan-Boltzmanns law of blackbody radiation, it should emit light of shorter wavelength if it was that hot. The flame would in that case be violett to blue in color.
Research this yourself, I think a 7th grader could see that there is something very wrong about this claim. Please for the sake of legitimate science, real valid research, claims, do not put stuff like this on YT. You are promoting a flim flam artist, a con. I am sure he would gladly take your money to invest in his claims to make you rich. And if your interested I have a niece who can make you rich with a modest investment! @grangersmith You missed the obvious mr wizard - he's talking about designing around the basic theory, not actually using microwave ovens. Can you even operate yours without researching it, or spending an hour or so with the directions? You know, just to see if you really know what you are doing, before you do it! - Sometimes the scientific process fails to recognize the simplicity of theory. Now go back to your little lab at one of the oil companies and STFU!
the guy is spinning you george...that yellow flame running way below 9,000 F, more like 1,000F or cooler
His fire proof stuff has been available off the shelf for 40 years.. same color and same consistency...
His statement that his simple mapp gas torch gets to 5,000F is simply false, those even get close to that. Now he is bullshitting you about human cells?
@cori800888 lol i doubt 1000f or cooler a lot, my oven can reach that, the amount of oxygen going into that is enough to allow temperatures above 5000, along with the fact that the carbon graphite melted makes it very unlikely that it was below 1000
I have an issue with microwaves and try to avoid them as much as possible! How much energy/goodness are they taking out of our food? Not to mention the crappy food that gets put into them... Keep away from that smoke btw.
Acetylene is just energized by the microwave radiation. It burns incompletely and forms smoke. What's the big deal? You wanna make a bomb. Fill the microwave up with Acetylene and oxygen then remotely turn the micowave on. You get a big explosion that will blow the microwave apart. Now that would be a cool video.
Too good to be true? Undoubtedly yes! That's an oxygen/acetylene torch and he is igniting the gases blowing through the pipe by microwaving it inside. A plasma flame is WAY brighter.
WHAT?! That guy is wrong, the microwave isn't even on when the torch is on, thats just an acetelyne torch flame. Plasma is very distinct. Please do your own research before you believe this.
Listen to what he is saying. Take electrical power to boil water to make electrical power. NOPE doesnt work that way.
Can you add a link to some more info on this besides your paypal account? Your videos never inspired to give you any money. They never have enough song and dance, just lots of whining.
So the gas he is using is oxygen mixed with hydrogen as an accelerant?
I wonder how cost effective that is. It seems like it could result in much more energy than is needed to create it.
I’m not sure, but i think the hydrogen is being used as a temporary ion carrier as a OH- to split the O2, generating roughly 34kj/mol energy.
Then breaking up and allowing the oxygen to then form some reactant with the air. Possibly O2 again. Which is maybe why he said he needs a transfer wall for the heat.
I don't understand what is going on here. Plasma rocket? What I saw was nothing more than conventional flames: fuel + heat + oxygen. Notice how the thing did not fire off until he opened the door. Ostensibly he let in oxygen to support combustion. Was he piping in only O2? This looks more and more bogus to me. Plasma is ionized (plus or minus charged) gas. The microwaves probably created a current in some metal inside + either a carbon source and or some hydrogen which burned and gave off heat.
@takforalt At 1:16 that was no doubt a Plasma discharge in the microwave. Plasma is nothing more then the 4th state matter and it is easy to see that at 1:16.
@valhala56 I don't deny that there was plasma formed inside the microwave but he was judging success by the flames outside from the pipe. The plasma perhaps provided the ignition and that is it.
@valhala56 depends on what the combustable is. If it was pure hydrogen, sure, if it was some carbon burning, not necessarily. I once open the door to a wood stove that wasn't getting enough oxygen, the flames just got bigger- depends on the amount of unburnt gas was in the space
@a10fjet "trying is fine, but dont jump to conclusions or broadcast absolute lies"
I think you are over exaggerating the situation. Nobody is promising anything. Imagination is up to you. No one wants another Negative Nancy, so don't get your panties in a wad and be one, Nancy.
I'm wondering where my damn fuel cells are? They were promised for cell phones and other devices 5 years ago? WTF? They have used Fuel cells since the Apollo missions. I don't get into the the energy conspiracy stuff ie witholding new technologies so that the Oil compaines can make big bucks, but hey somebody is dropping the ball here.
@valhala56 They have some pretty cool break things going on with fuel cells. But really the anode and cathode are too expensive. You can buy them if you'd like. Some of the better ones use paladium and platinum though, I don't think they'll be putting one in every phone. Ceramic fuel cell may work out better, but what does the cell phone hold to fuel it? Pure hydrogen? Gasoline? Propane? Alcohol? not a lot of good options to fill into your cell phone.
@theoriginalanomaly LOL, I wish i had to the time and competance to make my own fuel cells. I was reffering to the fuel cells that had been promised by industry that would run a Cell phone or laptop computer for months. Just vaporware.
he's putting a lot less energy in the they are getting out... how many times have you heard this before? You can't get electricity, plug in a microwave, and then send more energy back into the grid. Yes of course oxygen is what oxidizes... lots of heat, but you have to use energy to separate the oxygen from whatever it is bonded to, and it is almost always bonded to something... hence it creates energy when it bonds... and takes more energy to break the bonds.
@theoriginalanomaly they said that with the sterling engine. The problem with the sterling engine is it works with the little toy sized versions but for some reason when you scale it up it doesn't provide enough torque.
I seen on 60 minutes a couple of years ago a company that made a new type of fuel cell that was very dense and that they had sold and installed these fuel cells in large companies like eBay. This was a first generation product so it was very expensive only companies like eBay and Google could afford these fuel cells. I haven't heard anything since and I wonder why since it was supposed to be such a breakthough. Anybody else see that clip on 60 minutes?
There is a lot of science on different ways to create energy, the tidal energy you see in Pop Sci magazine, all the Biofuel stuff they got in early stages of development and stuff like this. The thing I don't understand is why Energy Secretary Steven Chu is not making one national energy program-with the same motivation they had with the Manhattan Project.
My guess is that they decided to invade foreign nations ie Iraq,Libyia soon to be iran to get their liquid fuels.Just my guess.
at 9k degrees if he had left that on it would have exploded the microwave into a ball of plasma. He shut that bitch off before it went Critical.
The way I see it is building a device that can control or hold the Plasma ball from expanding. At 9k temp you would need a magnetic bottle to contain this Plasma ball and keep the process going as you make your steam. That's the trick is the basic design of the device and how you can keep the Plasma bottle up.
@george4title and then we would have to consider the 'what if it went wrong' scenario. What is the adjacent effect? That is to say, would it be stable, and if it became unstable, what is the worst case scenario? boron fallout?
@george4title I may be wrong here but I think he is actually demoing a type of fusion reactor. He is missing the magnetic bottle. Maybe a simpler version of a fusion reactor. He is talking about separting H for O getting tempture up to create the state of Plasma-except he is not fusing Hydrogen-skipping that and using the high temps of the Plasma. In a way it is a combination Rocket motor-Fusion reactor.
@johan404 Maybe, wasn't CERN that just announced they have discovered neutrinos that go faster then light? So yeah you can go warp speed if you weigh less then a neurtino which is 0 weight 0 mass.
@1x93cm Yes that is the problem so far is that they have not been able to overcome the barrier of a sustainable magnetic field. The postive energy created in the tokamaks I think has only achieved a few minutes before they are putting in more energy then tokmak puts out.
I think this guy here is using a jet of plasma to heat the water that will generate the electicity which is kinda of shortcut to direct nuclear fusion.
@1x93cm If I remember my E&M series, magnetic fields come into existence when we have a current (Power). So if I'm right, it doesn't make sense to use this technology because it isn't creating energy, just changing what energy we already have, and we need more power (energy/sec) in order to make it useful. Less than a zero sum state, sort of...
@ripperduck yup- its not new tech at all... infact its a net energy loss- he could have done this same thing if he took a lighter to that oxygen....and produced a flame (which is technically a cold plasma)
theres no such thing as overunity machines because of the fact that they defy the laws of physics...
unless you have some machine that messes with quantum mechanics and is basically the LHC tearing holes in the fabric of space, you're not doing anything that hasnt been done yet
@1x93cm One thing I can say is that all physics happens when there's a change in energy. Energy is being changed, but not created. There is some interesting conceptual physics that's going on, but I have to agree with yass. From what I've seen nothing is being created, just altered. But that's what most physics/chemistry is about, changing one form of energy, which may be latent/potential, to another form, kinetic, so as to do work. That happens all the time, nothing new.
IMHO The Goverment Should have been funding Energy Research of this type. They should have had a crash energy program, like the Manhattan Project or the Apollo Program throwing all the money that went down the Black Hole of Wall Banks, then we might have had a New Economy selling this process of creating energy around the world.
Now we have indivual scientists working in their garages on this basic research and we got a hope & Pray somebody comes up with the "Macintosh of Energy",
Stick a hot dog down there, G4T...I dare you. COME ON...it won't hurt anything. For some reason, I REALLY want to discharge a plasma ball directly into a frozen burrito right now...or a Marshmallow Peep.

Earth- based laser beams to heat the propulsion gases for rockets.
Find out if this fellow can design an after burner unit(s) for rockets where focused
microwave beams can turn the rocket burn from Oxygen-Hydrogen fueled
rockets into plasma.
This may lead to smaller boosters with more thrust.
The power added would come from Earth-based electric grids,
getting powered by renewable energy source(s)

He is talking about separting H for O getting tempture up to create the state of Plasma-except he is not fusing Hydrogen-skipping that and using the high temps of the Plasma. In a way it is a combination Rocket motor-Fusion reactor.

@valhala56 yes

@valhala56 Does this mean we can reach warp speed?
johan404 2 months ago
@johan404 Maybe, wasn't CERN that just announced they have discovered neutrinos that go faster then light? So yeah you can go warp speed if you weigh less then a neurtino which is 0 weight 0 mass.
valhala56 2 months ago
@valhala56 Neutrinos have mass, it's very small but still non-zero mass.
johan404 2 months ago
@johan404 I stand corrected, they are nearly massless. Some think they are Dark Matter.
valhala56 2 months ago
@valhala56 the problem is in order to successfully contain plasma you need MASSIVE magnetic fields- which also requires MASSIVE power
look up tokamaks and the ITER plant- this is what they are trying to do
1x93cm 2 months ago
@1x93cm Yes that is the problem so far is that they have not been able to overcome the barrier of a sustainable magnetic field. The postive energy created in the tokamaks I think has only achieved a few minutes before they are putting in more energy then tokmak puts out.
I think this guy here is using a jet of plasma to heat the water that will generate the electicity which is kinda of shortcut to direct nuclear fusion.
valhala56 2 months ago
@1x93cm If I remember my E&M series, magnetic fields come into existence when we have a current (Power). So if I'm right, it doesn't make sense to use this technology because it isn't creating energy, just changing what energy we already have, and we need more power (energy/sec) in order to make it useful. Less than a zero sum state, sort of...
ripperduck 2 months ago
@ripperduck yup- its not new tech at all... infact its a net energy loss- he could have done this same thing if he took a lighter to that oxygen....and produced a flame (which is technically a cold plasma)
theres no such thing as overunity machines because of the fact that they defy the laws of physics...
unless you have some machine that messes with quantum mechanics and is basically the LHC tearing holes in the fabric of space, you're not doing anything that hasnt been done yet
1x93cm 2 months ago

Great idea to light a cigy in the morning. Might freak the neighbors out abit.

He must go through a lot Microwave ovens.
valhala56 2 months ago
I think what he is getting at is using Microwave frequenies to heat ?
What was he heating to get into the state of Plasma?
valhala56 2 months ago
@valhala56 that's the key. I'm going to have to talk with him about that
george4title 2 months ago
@george4title the militar has already weaponized this tech
its called the Active Denial System
conversely- look up the ITER reactor project- the Ruskies have been working on this for decades
1x93cm 2 months ago
@1x93cm yeah he talked about that...bad stuff, very bad...and he talked about ways to neutralize it

Plasma, the 4th State of Matter. Most of the other states people are accustomed to, Liquid, Solid and gas. Plasma is the state of matter the sun is.
He needed to diagram what his process is, but I think I know what he is getting at.

Can I make Plasma coffee in the morning?
456manny1 2 months ago
He just needs large amounts, of small deuterium packets to REALLY pimp that microwave out.
TheCaptainSlappy 2 months ago
Stick a hot dog down there, G4T...I dare you. COME ON...it won't hurt anything. For some reason, I REALLY want to discharge a plasma ball directly into a frozen burrito right now...or a Marshmallow Peep.

Keep videos like this coming. Thumbs up.

@1x93cm he has some crazy material, I think I'm not suppose to talk about... but it can handle these temps
