  • 1st time a saw this gun I had to look twice. I'm not really into competition or anything but this gun is just beautiful. I would carry this sucka in 10mm...

  • @ryanathan2 now that's not to say a LOT of the features on this gun such as porting , comp and cocking handle shouldn't be chosen for a defense gun , but if done they should be done on a gun made for defensive use.

loser tolerances +good training+ well built gun is almost always a winning combination.

you will have to "train to the gun" though.

  • @ryanathan2 the reason they don't adopt such features is reliability , if a comp gun goes down , the wort result is a loss of a match , if a defense gun goes down you could lose your life.

Some tourney features on defense guns are good , but comp guns are one thing :TIGHT .

Tight tolerances make for a gun that has a high chance of going down when in the mud dirt and mire of everyday life, while a looser gun generally wont.

  • @reignick1133 How come in movies when hit-men don't have silencers/suppressors on their pistol they usually got a comp or brake. Even the punisher raced out his 1911's and SW 500 mag. I know it's just hollywood but if would you consider using a raced out glock for defense because you knew it would be reliable? just a thought...

  • @TheNopedawg it's mostly for the "Hollywood image" of "custom gun sci-fi looking guns"

but comp'ed guns for work for real world use in the fact it's far less recoil per shot allowing quick follow up shots to be placed on target .

The best manner to achieve this is to take a combat ready firearms and have it fitted with a comp , you do have to mind that the comp is not as "open" as one built for "race guns"Co.'s like Glock actually makes comp'ed combat guns out of the box.

  • @reignick1133 thanks for the feed back.

  • @ryanathan2 maybe because its only licensed to be used for controlled competition?
