hey i have inbuilt sound card and it doesn't works it gives me caking sound, if i brought new sound card (not audio interface) will i get a good sound like you? please tell me!
i have the gtr solo software but what do i need to plug my guitar into the computer and would it sound better to use a 1x12 cab as the speakers for the computer
You will need an audio interface, do a search for guitar audio interfaces either Firewire if you have it or USB. You plug into the audio interface which then connects to the computer (say by USB) then it returns the signal and you can run an output to an amp or speaker cab.
ni guitar rig 3 is easier to dial up good quick but id say that waves gtr3 has better valve tones and is more realistic,both are good and its really down to individual prreference,i use ni guitar rig 3 for some tunes and waves gtr3 for other stuff but my choice if i could only own one would be gtr3

I just bought this because it was $18. How is just for starting off? I plan on getting Overloud TH1 or Amplitube in the future but they're like $300+

Yeah I use a combination of Waves GTR and Amplitube Fender depending on what kind of sound I want.

It really is very good, I was surprised just how close to a real amp this software sounds. I'll be adding a few more demos in different styles soon.
