well played, kudos...but these are the metal arranged versions of the original soundtrack..wasnt f-zero x metal enough for any band or composer to "metal arrange" if the f-zero x soundtrack is already metal enough.....that means that the band that arranged these tracks from the originals, wasnt metal enough to cover them right.....note by note, yes it is challenging, but if its that challenging why try if the originals are better?

When you say original are you referring to the SNES game? If yes then this IS from X. If No then I think you'll find that these tracks are fairly different and nicely arranged from the OST counterparts.

The band playing was actually Nintendo's own musicians...

The tracks are from the Guitar Arrange album that was released a while back. The tracks were arranged by internal Nintendo musicians Ryuichi Katsumata and Taro Bando. It's not easy to get hold of the album these days but there's plenty of places to hear online, youtube having all the tracks for example...
