As a composer, I would dislike seeing someone perform my song differently than how I would. I would even dislike someone playing my song at all unless that person also plays a completely original piece of their own during the performance. That is an action I can fully respect. It is like a compliment and a fair trade. It is also an interesting statement of where their living style is and is going for the moment.

I mean it makes sense right? Why would anyone learn anything the wrong way or half-assed? I am not trying to be mean or anything like that, ok? It goes with anything anyone learns. If I am going to be tested on the periodic table of elements, I would have to learn all the info to all 88 to 94 naturally occurring elements. Half assed or the wrong way would be learning just the names, or atomic numbers, or failing to learn all 88 to 94 of them. When it comes time for the exam, would I pass? No.

You know, today people, on youtube is proud to show, and say something like "hey look, i've done it bymyself ! i'm really skilled don't i ?" Or, "i've done it by ear".

But this kind of people does not know that we're looking for brahms, not their poor adaptation. Ok, sometimes it's cool, but must of the times it suck.

I think first, before doing an adaptation, they should interpretes the real-one, and then, if this one is perfect, maybe tryna do their own try.

I couldn't have put it better myself. I totally agree. I mean I can play some of Chopin's Etudes but you don't see them on Youtube for a reason. I need more practice. And I wouldn't substitute ANY interpretations for the real versions, or else they wouldn't be his Etudes, right?

Somehow your video is not able to capture the movements of your hands and the sounds correctly. I realised that your hands are a bit slow as reflected on the video while the music is already ahead.

However, despite of the few minor mistakes in your playing, it was good!
