@mooferoo are you kidding? It MUST have multiplayer support as did all Neverwinter titles had from the good old days of gsa and dedicated servers. Do you seriously want another Dragon Age that is a great game but wish you could play it online? I sure don't, I missed mp. This game is going to flop no matter what, look who is the developer, could they have gone with anybody worse? Everything they touch turns out to be 100% Grade-AAA Shit.

@1NutWhoreBitOffMyNut Sorry but yes i do. NWN is my favourite rpg and i've never played or wanted to play online. I don't mind there being multiplayer in a NWN1 kind of style longs theres also single player too.

@mooferoo Try playing online with someone you know, NWN2 I liked more myself for online play but having a good friend in your group helping you throughout the whole campaign is a real highlight of the game. I respect your opinion but do try it once, I bet you change your mind and find a new joy in the game. I don't like playing with people I don't know, it usually leads to fusteration with ninja looting causing the most issues, but with a friend or even your gf (as I have), its a blast

When did roleplaying games just devolve into action spells and hack 'n slash? I find it so sad that there's no room for puzzles, problem-solving, tactics, humour, dialogue, plot/story, in-depth characters and engaging roleplaying scenarios in -any- of today's modern "RPG"s. Yes, that even includes Skyrim.

Cut scenes are 'in-game' but are rendered using an entirely different technology than the players will see while playing their characters. On the good side, the fact that you misunderstand this basic concept does mean plenty of work for you as a public relations officer for most commercial game developers, who are similarly clueless.

It's based on D&D 4th Ed, as I recall, so I'm automatically prejudiced against it. 4th Ed is pandering, commercialist sludge. As much as I loved the 1st and 2nd Editions, 3rd Ed was perfection, IMO.

Too bad WotC is treating 3rd Ed like a leper nowadays; otherwise, they'd have the good sense to simply take the original Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, retread both of them with Neverwinter's pretty graphics and relaunch. NWN 1 and 2 would sell like beer on Superbowl Sunday (again) if they did that.

Agreed with arackan1 Daggerdale was horrible. Playable but still horrible in design. If I wanted Gauntlet I would have bought Gauntlet. I'm still willing to give this game a chance because Cryptic usually has indepth character creation, but at the moment that is the only selling point for me. Even then I may just wait till they produce a trial. I'm just glad I didn't get the four pack of Daggerdale on Steam. It's the only game of DnD to date that I totally regret buying...

From everything I read, this will not be a MMO. It will be exactly like NWN2 player worlds ect, where you can do the main game or play in the created worlds ect. Which is good, as I have enough MMOs I play right now anyways. Keep it like NWN/NWN2 and all gravy, and gos perfect world entertainment sucks so much ass its not funny. All f2p games simply suck.

@alvarokas yes, that would make it so much better. I would love to see at least a race selection for classes (I'd like a Dwarf Fighter/Warrior, not a Cleric), I wouldn't care much about actually customizing hair and crap like that, just give me my dwarf fighter!

Also, i'd like to fight more dergens (dragons) in this game, it's a Skryim jolt for me asking, but I'd like to fight more than one this time around, Oh! and also, I want to fight an entire army either in the intro, or the ending! :D
