I kinda like the six rings but I agree they should discontinue fusions and true flights. And there are those who cannot afford the retros cause at school I see a lot of kids getting excited cause they got some new fusions or true flights and I'm just like those are not all of that and they are just happy to have some but its about making money and thats what they are doing as for quality it's garbage.

Jordan brand is disappointing back then the kicks were 100-125 for a retro a few years ago with superior quality I even bought a really nice Nonretro or og in 03 bad ass hell and had great quality like the leather was great and now retros are poor quality and most are 150 and above even 6 rings and spikes are 175 but people are still buying it

Good vid. But I completely disagree with u. Economics plays greatly in quality. We can't expect a shoe to be the same exact material it once was back then. If you average the dollar back then to today's market, you will find no serious increase. The dollar seeking a bit low has made corporates go about things differently, that's the bottom line. Why aren't cars fully aluminum or metal? Cause cheap and replaceable is the way to go. We buy cheap, they make their numbers, case close. We all win.

@jstar25 I completely understand. But we r not talking about "Prowing" material either. As time goes by, so does the leather industry . Take cars for instance. My 97 Supra leather is made out of Aldehyde & not chrome like most sport cars. Yet, the NSX & Mclaren F1 Sparco seats in the late stages of their existence decide to go the chrome route rather than Deer etc type exotic leathers. And the prices r ridiculous. With that said, the Aldehyde type J leather is better than what folks might think.

To be honest I like Fusions. I have Spizikes and Rare Airs and theyre the best fusions in my opinion. Even though I love all the Jordans especially the 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, and 11s I cant afford all of em. Why not get a fusion that has a combo of all the jordans you love. A lot of people hate em and thats good cause I can find em in the outlet for a cheaper price.

@mc101305 i i actually have a DS pair of the 01 cool greys so i can tell first hand the material isnt the same on the 2010s and to be honest for that price of 175 plus tax you might as well save up a lil more and get the 01s in my opinion. I know ppl who paid like 250ish plus shipping for the 2010s to have them earlier which is crazy . There overall shape of the 2010s just isnt the same your getting less quality and paying more money

I love thinkin about back inthe day when i see old school jordans, or even any old school shoe. Its a flash back to being about 5 years old in the 90's and watchin #23 tear it up on the court. He's the director of Nike Jordan brand.I'm not sure you knew that though.What puzzles me, if they really want to make things different so no one would lose their mind, they should change the jumpman color inside the shoe or hell even the insoles color.Flip the jumpman color and insole color and thats how you can distinguish the differences.
I completely agree with this, I remember watching the Bulls v. Jazz 98' finals with my Dad as a kid, I grew up on J's and its sad to see the quality and design of Jordans decline. I mean I bought the QF IIs recently and the quality on these is just sad the leather on those is just a complete joke.

Nike has green initiatives in place and has for years, I'm sure they could do more but it's not like they have turned a blind eye to the environment. I agree with you. Its a million dollar company cutting alot of corners. Which is the reason why i thought the pistons was an easy pass for me this month. Spizikes are a horrid looking shoe. @MrJacobtc I didn't buy them, mainly because I don't really care for the colorway, I like Concrnd & Cool Grey XI's. I wasn't a fan of charging more $175 for a lesser quality retro than the original Space Jams(not to say the quality is bad, just not as good as the original Jam) But that's how I am if I don't like I don't cop no matter the level of "hype" around the release. -Peace
I have to admit though, I'm wearing a pair of AJ1 black/white polka dot lows as my beaters right now. I think they look great with almost anything and I've never had as many people ask me what I'm wearing. So I'm glad they made them :-)

Thank you for all of your videos. If it wasn't for your videos I'd be one of those ppl who would just rock anything Jordan. I've took the time to study all of the Jordan I-XV and their colorways. I only own one pair of Fusions and I probly will never purchase another pair. I'll probly won't ever be as dedicated to retro Jordans as much as other ppl but thanks to you before I purchase a retro Jordan I take the time to study it before dropping 150$ on something I might regret.

I have a pair of the white red and black air jordan true flights, And to be honest I see nothing wrong with them. The quality is just fine to me, And I love the sneakers. The Air force 1 fusions though I think are garbage. BUT the hybrids I have no problem with. I really like the 60+ jordans and the true flights. i got my retro white/red cherry 12's a few days ago, and i think its a good retro. Hey, i had the OG's back in the day, After i bought em i stayed reminiscing those years i wore the exact shoe in same color. All they did was make the red a shade darker, and looks slight longer, but from far away both the og's and retro's look exactly the same. good release JB
Really I'm not one to buy into the hype behind these. Quality for sure won't be what we expect, at the same time the price tag is $175 so go figure on that.
I personally won't be going out of my way for them, if I get a pair it'll probably be gifted to me from someone or a deal that I can't really pass on. My favorite XI's have been the Concords and Cool Greys, Space Jams are nice but not really "Oh Snap have to have those" to me. -Peace

I like the Spizikes even before the made SPizike s winterized boots. I would use and only wear my spizikes for winter occassion. Especially the EastCoast, Fire Red's, True Blues & the OG's.
Great video. I agree with you 100%. But, Nike just can't survive selling carbon copies of O.G.'s. There are people who work in the design department at NIKE (JORDAN), they wouldn't have jobs if they weren't hard at work making minor design changes to O.G.'s or making brand new "fusions". NIKE as a company, must always look towards the future and diversify with new products and new markets. I don't agree with it, but it's just business. I wish O.G. Jordans from I-XX were readily available.

I kinda like the six rings but I agree they should discontinue fusions and true flights. Jordan brand is disappointing back then the kicks were 100-125 for a retro a few years ago with superior quality I even bought a really nice Nonretro or og in 03 bad ass hell and had great quality like the leather was great and now retros are poor quality and most are 150 and above even 6 rings and spikes are 175 but people are still buying it

Good vid. But I completely disagree with u. Economics plays greatly in quality. We can't expect a shoe to be the same exact material it once was back then. If you average the dollar back then to today's market, you will find no serious increase. The dollar seeking a bit low has made corporates go about things differently, that's the bottom line. Why aren't cars fully aluminum or metal? Cause cheap and replaceable is the way to go. We buy cheap, they make their numbers, case close. We all win.

My 97 Supra leather is made out of Aldehyde & not chrome like most sport cars. Yet, the NSX & Mclaren F1 Sparco seats in the late stages of their existence decide to go the chrome route rather than Deer etc type exotic leathers. And the prices r ridiculous. With that said, the Aldehyde type J leather is better than what folks might think.

To be honest I like Fusions. I have Spizikes and Rare Airs and theyre the best fusions in my opinion. Even though I love all the Jordans especially the 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, and 11s I cant afford all of em. Why not get a fusion that has a combo of all the jordans you love. I love thinkin about back inthe day when i see old school jordans, or even any old school shoe. Its a flash back to being about 5 years old in the 90's and watchin #23 tear it up on the court. Hey J, man, I think I know the individual name responsible for the poor quality on retro jordans. It's D'Wayne Edwards. He's the director of Nike Jordan brand.I'm not sure you knew that though.What puzzles me, if they really want to make things different so no one would lose their mind, they should change the jumpman color inside the shoe or hell even the insoles color.Flip the jumpman color and insole color and thats how you can distinguish the differences.

I completely agree with this, I remember watching the Bulls v. Jazz 98' finals with my Dad as a kid, I grew up on J's and its sad to see the quality and design of Jordans decline. I mean I bought the QF IIs recently and the quality on these is just sad the leather on those is just a complete joke.

the original creator of the jordan shoe was a big lost to the jordan brand, the influences like ferrari, the black panther, the fighter jet, all conceptions that are gone, i know it sounds like some extra shit, but the prices are outrageous and the shoes if you see the link with nike shoes made for lebron. as far as the six rings: i support it because the shoes he won rings in are in one and i cannot afford all seven so i fucks with those:glory days of jordan shoes

@MrJacobtc I didn't buy them, mainly because I don't really care for the colorway, I like Concrnd & Cool Grey XI's. I wasn't a fan of charging more $175 for a lesser quality retro than the original Space Jams(not to say the quality is bad, just not as good as the original Jam) But that's how I am if I don't like I don't cop no matter the level of "hype" around the release. -Peace

Thank you for all of your videos. If it wasn't for your videos I'd be one of those ppl who would just rock anything Jordan. I've took the time to study all of the Jordan I-XV and their colorways. I only own one pair of Fusions and I probly will never purchase another pair. I have a pair of the white red and black air jordan true flights, And to be honest I see nothing wrong with them. The quality is just fine to me, And I love the sneakers. The Air force 1 fusions though I think are garbage. BUT the hybrids I have no problem with. I really like the 60+ jordans and the true flights. I think that alot of jordan purists just bitch alot cause they have alot of memories tied into the shoes and don't want to see it change

i got my retro white/red cherry 12's a few days ago, and i think its a good retro. Hey, i had the OG's back in the day, After i bought em i stayed reminiscing those years i wore the exact shoe in same color. All they did was make the red a shade darker, and looks slight longer, but from far away both the og's and retro's look exactly the same. good release JB

Really I'm not one to buy into the hype behind these. Quality for sure won't be what we expect, at the same time the price tag is $175 so go figure on that.
I personally won't be going out of my way for them, if I get a pair it'll probably be gifted to me from someone or a deal that I can't really pass on. My favorite XI's have been the Concords and Cool Greys, Space Jams are nice but not really "Oh Snap have to have those" to me. -Peace

Great video. I agree with you 100%. But, Nike just can't survive selling carbon copies of O.G.'s. There are people who work in the design department at NIKE (JORDAN), they wouldn't have jobs if they weren't hard at work making minor design changes to O.G.'s or making brand new "fusions". NIKE as a company, must always look towards the future and diversify with new products and new markets. I don't agree with it, but it's just business. I wish O.G. Jordans from I-XX were readily available.

The "Spiz"ike is NOT a "Fusion" and cannot even be compared to the crap "JB" has been releasing. The "Spiz'ike" is also a "Classic" shoe because it represents the "Air Jordan Legacy". I can respect that. However ponder this... Spiz'ike is actually not a bad sneaker in my opinion... but really I see them as Dub Zero II's, a collaboration of sneakers. Also to commemorate the Spike years they released the DTRT Do The Right Thing III's as well as Mars IV's as well as placing Mars in laser on the XX's, have you thought about that?
