I also remember Ursula threatening to ruin a wedding by blowing it up (putting a bomb in a wedding cake??). I remember her singing to herself "here comes the bride, blown high and wide." Classic!

What is it with OLTL and falling out of windows? I just watched another old clip from the late 80's or early 90's where Cassie was being held hostage by some crazy guy who also ended up falling out of a window..... OLTL was always larger than life in those days, esp. with story lines such as Eterna. As for Tina.....imo *nobody* played Tina better than Andrea Evans. Evans was, is, and forever will be the only Tina in my mind.

well, i'm not ashamed to say that the tina recasts were abysmal. while they were recasting they did damage to tina's history. hell, the krista tesreau tina is the one who was scheming with david vickers to rob vicki blind. when andrea evans came back as tina, all tina wanted was what was rightfully hers. everyone knows that the andrea evans tina loved cord above all else, but with the recast tinas it was like cord was just some joe schmo from kokomo...all these recasts because of a stalker.

This is so weird, but whatever, strange things happen. This show aired on Sept. 16 or 17, my birthday is the 17th and I was sick with a fever and bad cold. I was supposed to go to my Dad's that night but was really still sick. I was in my Mom's bed watching this scene unfold and as Cornelius, Ursula and Tina fell from the lighthouse, the shock broke my fever and I was cured. Hand to God.

yes Y@R and OLTL are the only soaps I like anymore. I will never watch GH again like I did in the 80's and early 90's. that show totally sucks. I watched Days many years ago but I only liked it for 2 years before I gave that up. And Children sucks now days too. So nice that . I've missed Y@R @ OLTL the only 2 i like since March so I have to catch up by watching it on here or reading about it on Soapcentral. And you're right they totally fucked Tina's return last year

yea, we had andrea evans for 6 months and they never paired wher with Dorian, Nu-clint, and very rarely with Bo and Viki. They should have kept david vickers on for her love interest not cain Rogan--he was a useless character

I know! I was DYING for a scene with Tina, Viki and Dorian all together and going at it like old times and a story that brought them all together would have been nice. They didn't even bring Tina back for Viki's wedding!

they ruined Andrea Evans' return--I hope she comes back soon--disliked karen wittter very much and krista tesreau could have been quite good but they never used her much after viki's multiple story line in 1995

I didn't like either I will and always will only like Andrea Evans as Tina I was truly hoping she would be back for Charlie and Viki's wedding, could you imagine her showing up late and then everything else all for 2 whole episodes but that's 2 hard for ABC! And its a shame.

I think you hate Witter more than you love Evans. We know Evans is the quintissential Tina, but Witter was a phenomenally successful recast. This hate toward Witter, especially on segments that don't involve her, is similar to the fanatical Robin Strasser fans who despise Elaine Princi. I think it's really because these recasts were so "good" that so much energy is spent on trashing them... Why not mention Krista Teserau, too? Oh, yeah, because she WASN'T nearly as good as Witter nor Evans.

Thank you sooooooo much for posting this. I still have this on tape. This was a great end to the story line. Ursula was crazy as hell and she came after Tina twice more: 1. She put a bomb in her wedding cake and killed Max's brother. 2. She and Tina had a fight in the wrestling ring. They brought back Jamie Saunders for that story.

Yeah, I watched all the soaps back in the 80s when I could (during school vacations). OLTL is actually still pretty decent, but I stopped watching Y&R around 89/90 when the REAL Jack Abbott left the show!
