For the most part I agree with you christopher, paying for the material in a figure. I do however think I should point out that if a someone puts out an awesome scuplt, I'm pretty happy to fork over a few extra dollars for his or her hard work.
Just wanted to mention that Duke Rathor of the Dragon Knights (the awesome looking "mean machine" guy) costs $12.99 and not $9.99. Still great looking figure and definitely worth it. Thanks for the tip Christofer! Placing my order of the box set right now. Keep those videos coming in.
you are not paying for the metal - it's worth NOTHING compared to the sculpt/ you are paying for the artist. so in my opinion it's ok if they all cost the same
I hear what your saying but it depends on how you look at it, by your logic you could charge any price and it would be ok, how do you feel about paying $50. for a sculpt? I would say thats a fair price for an artist time? but rember thats not an orignal! its a cast of the artis work thats like a copy of the work is that still as good as the actual piec the artist worked on, maby I could sell you a picture of it and only charge you $25 thats a great buy right?...I hope you se where im coming from
May its just me but it seems like if you pay $10 for the small minies then they made a profit wich allows them to sell the larger models for say cost...still $10 so in the long run its not a bad markiting idea.

Check out some of the older vids we have on painting Lars. It's not a complete figure painting, but at least it's something.

Yeah, i should have been more clear in my complaint. I guess I'm so used to paying around 4.99 for a small figure like the knights.
The more well sculpted minis are a steal for the $10 price though.
But, you're probably right, the cooler minis are more than likely just a loss leader.
