  • I wonder if he's ever read any books by Henry David Thoreau. Chris thank God for your music! You inspire us all.

  • Got to meet Chris several times and what AMAZES me to this day, that he will stay until EVERY FAN gets an autograph or a picture at every concert. Also, I have been to a concert where he actually at the end of the opening song, had a whole row of people move because there were young kids sitting right in front of the large tower of speakers. He did not want to damage those kids hearing. He is TRULY a class act and a great role model for future musicians.

  • Chris Botti is the greatest. I still want him to come to Fairhope, Alabama....the crowd would be huge as we are close to Mobile, AL, Orange Beach, AL and Gulf Shores, AL..Pensacola, FL and 1 hour from Mississippi. Fairhope is one of two Original Colonys still left in America and was founded on the Arts....Many famous writers live here one being Winston Groom who wrote Forrest Gump, Jimmy Buffett and many others. We can get the crowd together here with the Pops Orchestra that is available.

  • I was just at one of his performances and he said he's on tour 300 days out of the year. Maybe he's living somewhere now?

  • @MrB4rbz Chris, has an Apt.in New York in the meat packing distric. I was talking to him one time and he said that when he went to see the place during the day with the agent it was great. A great view of the Empire State Building and it was very quiet for New York. Then the first night he was there he could not sleep from all the comotion of all the meat trucks trying to get in and out from all the butcher shops in the area. He said he got use to it and misses it when not home.

  • @MrB4rbz I saw him tonight in concert, and he said it again. 300 days a year... crazy!!!

  • he has amazing taste. I watch a blu-ray with his concerts at least once a week while studying for my grad courses. He truly inspires me to perform job at my best.

  • That is some valuable trumpet. He must travel with it as a carry-on or have a $2 million policy on it, LOL... But really, I love everything about it, from its mellow, almost whispering tones to its vibrating high pitches... oh, and of course Chris' outstanding talent is no less...delicious.

  • when will you visit Thailand Bangkok ??? In Oct 2010 David Foster and friends.Stanley Jordan ,and Paul Anker ,Visited and played here are you coming soon to the Capital of Cool in Asia ???????

  • Chris, liar!! What about your yoga mat???

  • Wow, that's so cool, getting the inside scoop on Chris Botti's life xD

  • I love music and instruments, I feel it is very important in schools and in life. I am a Flutist.;for many years.

  • The song at 2:06 is "CINEMA PARADISO" in his cd: "WHEN I FALL IN LOVE" (2004)

  • Thank you.

  • Does anyone know what song plays a 2:06, or is that just an ad lib? Thanks!

  • Is he THAT busy? I don't believe him....I think he has a home somewhere which we don't know about.

  • @Runaholism I am with you on that one...and with that kind of musician's touring life, he probably has at least or more likely several girl friends...or perhaps he's married by now...in any case, he's one DEDICATED and obviously talented musician.

  • @Runaholism

    :) it's in los angeles

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the piece he plays at 2:06?

  • Joni "I couldn't have got to the show without..." What? I can't decipher

  • Sake. She couldn't have made it without Sake.

  • Botti must be an introvert at heart.

I also own no pictures of my family including no photo of my mother or myself except the one on my drivers lic. and i've lived in seven states and nine cities or towns, and I've left behind or gave to goodwill or the church all my possessions except some clothing more than once in my life. What he is experiencing in life is actually "internal" in spite of his worldy success and numerous contacts.

    ISTJ

  • @MrNytn2001 Why do you say Chris Botti is an introvert at heart?

  • I first found Chris through his big hit album "What I fall in love". I know it's about trumpet, but I totally have no idea about the music type. I just bought the album, because I like the cover. Cool pix of Chris and a lady.

Guess what I have collected almost every album he has released. This is how I love Chris Botti.

  • wow , a true artist!

  • He says he has no possessions. ... but he does! He posseses many of our hearts with his great trumpet skills.

  • RIGHT!

  • I'm the proud owner of a martin committee, original piece. I buyed for 1500 euro but someone wants to buy for 2500 euro! What is so special on this horn?

  • great Chris! ... good boy!

  • He's soooo amazing. I love him!!

  • its fantastic i love him more than i did i just love it thanks

  • fantastic!
